He may be #1 in the WBA (in boxing politics anything is possible), but none of pro boxing's other alphabet soup governing bodies has him in the top 10.

He's a joke, and would be destroyed by any of the top heavies -- the Klitschkos, Byrd, Toney, Brewster, Peter, etc.

(Yeah, the heavyweight division is in a sad state these days).

That's 332 lbs, great for wrestling but way too big and heavy to be a serious prizefighter. You don't gain any punching power after about 225 lbs. Anything past that is just extra weight to carry around. Somebody like Joe Louis would demolish him.

"Russia’s largest boxer at 151 kilograms and a height of 215 centimeters..."

That's about 333 lbs., and a little over 7 ft. tall?! Yikes!

A lot of times power carries a boxer pretty far. When the power goes, there was not so much skill behind it.

With a 43-0 record, 7'2" tall, and 332 pounds, Nikolai Valuev is an imposing figure of a man. He knocked out Clifford Etienne in the 3rd round of their WBA intercontinental title bout in Bayreauth, Germany on May 14, 2005

Etienne, the Black Rhino, has a fairly impressive record against top competition. He has beaten Lamon Brewster and Lawrence Clay-Bey. Tyson knocked him out in the 1st round.

Earlier, Valuev, Russia’s largest boxer at 151 kilograms and a height of 215 centimeters, occupied the third place in the list. ==

Who can fight him? Such weight and height. He probably has been in his own cathegory.

I saw once his fight with some guy which lesser then him about half head. It looks like Valuev wanted not to hurt him. Because only one punch and opponent is dead.

*whew* Bet his mom had to tie a pork chop around his neck to get the dog to play with him.

Not that I'd say that to his face.

Show me - is he the real deal? If looks could win a fight I'd understand his win streak.
