Have you ever wondered, how is it possbile for Ozzy to sing a song when you can't even understand a three word sentence?

I too have contemplated this great mystery, and I recently stumbled upon this evidence that leads me to believe that in fact he may not be able to sing anymore.

Take a listen to Ozzy's rendition of 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' that was recorded live at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

Not since Rosanne Barr grabbed her crotch has an Anthem been so brutally assaulted and hacked.

LOL! Funny but sad at the same time. His brain is fried.

God bless those Cubs fans, they didn't boo and went right along with him. Ozzy probably wouldn't have heard them if they did

You know how bad you sound when you try to sing while a bit drunk? Well, when you've been stoned since 1970, you're not going to be that good.

.....leads me to believe that in fact he may not be able to sing anymore.

Just because he can't sing "Take me out to the Ballgame" doesn't necessarily mean he can't sing tunes like "Paranoid," "Iron Man," and "Sweet Leaf" anymore.

Jeff Gordon did a really bad job of it.

Mike Ditka was great/terrible as well. Sportcenter couldn't get enough of showing that one, I'm sure that will make the '10 worst' list on Saturday morning.

This was 2 years ago! How about the more recent, awful version Jeff Gordon performed the other night. Not only was the song bad, he called Wrigley Field, "Wrigley Stadium."

Wrigley Field is awful, the Cubs have made MLB closer to WWF, one big beergarden for underage drunks (used to go there for years when I lived on the west side, the team itself was always pathetcc, but the fans were easy to laugh at, Cub fans are the most stupid fans in all professional sports bar none, they brag when Detroit comes to town and they pay $250 a seat, even though the combined records at the time was 30 games below .500)

Heard there was another shooting at Wrigley last weekend, last year they shot to death a Sox fan (from stupidity to homicidal maniacs).

Real good Cubbies, the fans are really proud (and drunk).

I'll take a White Sox or Braves game anyday of the year.

That was hysterical. I laughed until I had tears in my eyes listening to Gordon. And his off-key tag of singing the "1-2-3 strikes you're out" AFTER the song was over, was priceless.

I agree. Ozzy is pathetic. He was always a terrible singer. (He also has Parkinson's Disease.) At one time, he did have genius for poetry and musical arrangement, but pissed it all away with liquor, drugs and a sordid fascination with the macabre.
