I assume one of the reasons you cover Today is that has been the top rated morning show for long time now. Since Good Morning America has been mentioned I was wondering if it takes over the top rated spot at some point in the future (They seem to be getting close to that recently) will you switch to covering them more?

I am asking how her views on this issue is affecting how she covered both stories.

Katie is subtle in this regard.

I suggest you do a search for previous "Today" threads--I think you'll find that GLGB has done a very thorough and right-on-target job of describing the subtle (and not-so-subtle) bias of the MSM.

He has also answered, many times, your question of "why do you watch the Today show if you hate it so much," etc.

My point is that liberals like Katie Couric seem to care more about animals than they do about people

And my point is ... how has this affected her coverage of Schiavo or abortion .... the original points the post was written about.

Believe me, I don't like Katie and rarely watch any of the 'morning' shows that are on TV ... so I am not defending her ... I just wonder how her viewpoints are affecting her coverage of the story.

I was making the point that even if I dislike the show, it's worthwhile keeping track of what the Today Show is up to since it remains an important source of news and views for millions of Americans.

Good question, and one I've been asking myself. It would be hard to bid goodbye to Katie & Co., but if GMA takes over a clear lead, I suppose I'd have to make the switch!

I don't want to do research ... I am asking a question that can be answered here and now.  If he doesn't want to, I understand.

I think I've made a convincing case as to Couric being pro-choice

How?

Please see #44 for a brief explanation of why I watch. That, and perhaps a slightly masochistic streak.

They are keeping them under surveilance

And keeping the MSM under "surveilance," or surveillance, is exactly what GLGB does.

If it's the "worst analogy" you've seen in a whole month and a half, well, you must have been reading some arcane mathematics or physics threads.

Eating meat is selfish and cruel, in their eyes. I wonder if they see having an abortion (as a moral choice, whether it's legal or not) the same way?

As long as you don't eat the baby it's OK.

Did you read #30? Perhaps at this point, you should consider taking your own advice. If you have an aversion to me or what I write, why bother to continue to read and respond? Why not tune me out just as you've advised me to tune out Today?

I was channel-surfing from Good Morning America to Today. I noticed that the lead-in news roundup to GMA had the newsreader saying "in good news for American troops...", while Ann Curry of Sedition Today kept that nasty "good" word entirely away the NBC news roundup from Iraq, and even inserted a "but" line ['... but Iraqi insurgents have begun using children as human shields...'] when it came to news about Zarquawi.

I'm starting to think that our friend softwarecreator is a troll, or at least a disruptor.

Anyway, I have to take off shortly, but thanks for your hard work, GLGB.

Don't know what GLGB does or doesn't do

Did you read the actual post?  It was a lame analogy, pure and simple.
