Long weekends sometimes are family backyard cookouts.
While this weekend is Memorial Weekend, which we in the Canteen take seriously, a little kickoff fun is planned.
We thank our Troops for their service to our nation.

Yes, this is very hard work day. :) Tough one finding a fax machine. Although, you may be surprised how some local stores have them. I hope you find one easily.

The kids are home today. I have to find something for us to do. Although the weather is not cooperating. I have to find something rather than them watching that box in there or on that Playstation. :)

I can't imagine having more than one kid. You I admire. My friend tells me that Connor is worth three kids though. Or as much work as three kids. He's a wild one alright! LOL

My kids are 8 years apart. It makes it easier, I think.

From reading posts, I see Connor is active. It can be tough but it makes them do and succeed. They enjoy life. From what I have read here, I admire you. You are an awesome Mom!

My youngest, daughter, is a wild one. LOL! She can't stop....go go go. I wish she could pass off some of that energy.

My son, forget it. If anyone gave him soda or sugar we would have to peel him right off the ceiling. He's an honor student now in HS. I wish I could show that to the few teachers who speculated this being a major problem of his. He's the absolute best to be around too, :)

Thay don't say that just anywhere. I lived in North Caroline while I was in high school. The first time our family was invited to a pig pickin' we had NO IDEA what to expect! LOL!!!
