Good morning all. Senate convenes at 9:30 am this morning, to vote on the nomination of Priscilla Owen. I've started the thread early, as I have to leave for a few hours, but also to give us a place to start commenting early on the events of yesterday....

Around here it's always stood for "Bump To The Top", not "boot". Many times people will just say bump, which means the same thing. To bump the thread to the top of the latest post list so others will see it and read it.
boot does mean the same thing but I have never seen it put that way. Just in the interest of accuracy. No big deal.

Do they have any? Lieberman is a fraud! Voinovich is nervous, I hear it in his voice! I grew uo with this guy! Very interesting! I have know who he is since I was 12!

Secret vote so that people who put you in office can't see how you voted? This guy digs a bigger hole for himself every time he talks on Bolton.
