My CSPAN has been muted since Byrd invoked Abe Lincoln!

LOL! Mine was muted as soon as I turned it on and saw Byrd Droppings. (I'm not allowed to yell and scream in the workplace, it's distracting to my fellow employees.)

The dems have been screaming to the rafters that these three judges would be the end of the country, and now they say, "oh, never mind. Let's vote?" I smell... a rat.

Actually, what you are smelling is the unwashed moonbats on the Left who drive the 'Rat party's nonsensical and extreme positions. The 'Rat politicians have to cater to these 'bats. Yes, we have some moonbats on our side too, but at least our moonbats shower, shampoo w/ rinse & repeat, shave (including women), and brush & floss.

Good for you. Unfortunately for us, our government reps are: Woolsey, Boxer and Feinstein, with Pelosi and her surgical procedures thrown in for entertainment.

That's entirely possible.

COPYING AND PASTING THIS FROM A SEPARATE THREAD FYI

In the last hour of the show, Lindsey Graham was on the Mike Gallagher show. Here is a synopsis of what he said

- I pretty much leave out the other side of the conversation since it is usually pretty clear what Mike said:

- It's tough to disagree with your friends...
- I'd like to give you my reasoning here...
[interrupted by Mike with clip played of Reid crowing: sent a message to Pres & Radical R's]
- He's just playing that to his base. The bottom line is that Reid and the D's lose the battle over these three that they most wanted to block. Pryor, Brown, Owens will be confirmed real soon.
- If filibusters are allowed, that will damage the judiciary. We had to end that. This is a chance to start over and reinstate the Senate tradition of parties working together. But ...
- I am a YES vote - a solid YES - for the Constitutional Option - if the D's resume filibustering.
- I predict all eight of these nominees will get back in the process, and that seven of those eight will be confirmed - but that one will not.
- This is all about the Supreme Court, though.
- The real big problem I had is "what happens if the Constitutional option failed?" There are FIVE SOLID NOs against the Constitutional option. There are 4 or 5 unknown. This was too close. Failure would be a disaster and really cause problems.
- Best is to get these conservative justices on the bench, and that will reframe the debate for the D's since these are not now "too extreme".
- [What if D's Filibuster USSC justices?] - D's said they would not filibuster unless "exceptional circumstances" - and that's not a wide open phrase - they aren't sinning this.
- Conservative justices will now make it through the judicial process.
- I will vote for the Constitutional option if they filibuster Supreme Court and so will at least one more of the 12.
- [lost momentum?] - Maybe - but don't forget that they have now put "Neanderthals" (Kennedy/ Reid's words) to be judges, and so these are not "too conservative" to be on the bench.
- This has been the hardest thing I've done ...
- If they filibuster, I'll fight back hard - I'll start over with the "nuclear option" - but we'll be in a far stronger position when we're discussing the Supreme Court justices with the public.
- I may be wrong and hope I'm not about all this - time will tell.

Rush reporting that Frist's representative said they will bring all nominees to the floor for votes.

When (The sheet) used "cheese" earlier, it should have been in the context that the rats have already taken the bait. Who better to put forward then McCain, to set the trap.(also the man who backed him in 2000) I think it is absolute nonsense that Sen. Frist was blindsided. If people on this thread think that President Bush and Karl Rove are sitting idly on the sidelines, I have a bridge to sell them. One of President Bush's biggest promises to his conservative base, was to appoint constructionist Judges, we are watching his promise keeping in progress. The dims that are happy, think they are splintering the R's vote. When this is all over it will be their base that is in shatters. Never "misunderestimate" this President.

Thanks! Radio on, CSpan muted.

Hannity will have exclusive interviews with Frist and Graham. Also will have Robert Bork on during his show.

And it also means that Graham and Dewine (and any of the other five) CAN vote for the nuclear option.

Since a filibuster of Saad and Myers does not violate the agreement....

Why would Graham and Dewine vote for the nuclear option if the Dems haven't violated the agreement?

I suppose we'll just have to see how it turns out, but most of the conservative media outlets and blogs are reading it the same way I am ... Saad and Myers are gone (if the agreement stands).

Brit Hume on Fox basically repeating what I've said on Saad and Meyers (think he lurks here?). That nobody's thrown them over.

Graham and Dewine would vote to end the filibuster (whether it violates the agreement or not) to bring the nominations to the floor--as Frist originally planned to do today.

I'd be impressed with Frist if he had a cloture vote on all seven nominees every day until this is resolved.

"Hannity will have exclusive interviews with Frist and Graham. Also will have Robert Bork on during his show."

Yes I heard that too. McHomo has the time to do a press conference last night and get his ass kissed by Katie Couric....but he won't show up on Sean's show. What a coward

Boxer is infamous in her "broom closet liaison's" in the legislatures to get ahead

Thanks a lot -- now I have an image of Box-O-Rox in a closet under Byrd's sheet giving him the full Monica.

Let me run this little bit of opinion by you. This is all about ABORTION. Think about it, Snowe,Dewine,Chafee,Collins, and Warner are all pro-aborts,the other two are sweethearts in power and revenge. They have manipulated the Senate so that their pro abort and pro power stances will have the last say. They will guarantee that no pro-life Judge will be in the appeals courts or Supreme Court, because they have arranged it so that they (the so called moderates) will have the final say as to who gets fillibustered or not. This is the Christine Todd Whitman hateful philosophy at work, hating any judge that thinks abortion is wrong.
