I'm all for removing that ancient anchor from the podium.
To: Carolinamom
Also surprising that Lott hasn't said anything...

My response was , "I'd sooner believe the Internet than anything that comes out of McCain's office."
Applause, applause!

You got it, defeat the agreement by letting the rats hang themselves, at least I hope so.

(My tagline is currently being blocked by Congressional filibuster for being to harsh.)
To: You Dirty Rats
And if the 'Rats filibuster any nominees, then Frist should just let debate continue for months, if necessary. 24 x 7, a true filibuster. That is really the only way to deal with this. The real filibuster is designed to give the minority all the voice they want while the majority sits quietly and let's the minority make a public spectacle of themselves.

Well, I am going to run the vacuum. Compared to Byrd, the noise will be soothing. Back later.

And it also means that Graham and Dewine (and any of the other five) CAN vote for the nuclear option. As I've said, Saad and Meyers' status is the same as it was yesterday. Nobody 'threw' them over.

He can then add, "I will not stand by and allow anyone to subvert the Constitution. Vote on my nominees."Good idea.
