Exactly.
So three will be sent to the floor and the other two continue to hang in the wind. Damn the Senate. Damn it to hell.

What??? That's not a deal. That's not anything. I can't believe Frist is even putting up with this.

Every one of these RINOS need to be driven from office on the next election cycle.
It doesn't make any difference if they are replaced by Democrats. But they need to be gone. There needs to be some accountability to their voters. Now there is none.
A pox on these b@st@rds!

All it does is delay the confrontation past Owen, Brown, and Pryor.

They will vote for cloture on 3 of the judges; no promise on others. Nominees to be filibustered only under extraordinary circumstances. Trust, respect and mutual desire to protect the rights of the minority. Down the drain we go.

Nothing personal there, you just happened to be the post I hit when reacting to McCain and crew throwing two nominees under the bus.

Oh..is he? Well then he can thank them when he accepts the Democrat nomination. I will work very hard to see he is never elected to any position in this country as a Republican again.

I'm with you! Mccain is toast!

I think this is McCain and Company's strategy for driving the "extremists" (aka principled conservatives) out of the GOP.

McCain, DeWine, Snowe, Warner, Chafee, Collins
All RINOs who must go.

but this wouldn't be the Free Republic without kneejerk reactions and hysterics You may be right - but there's a history at work here, and we all know that quite a few Republican Senators would rather be liked (and invited to chic Washington cocktail parties) than stand on principle and risk having nasty stories about them published in the Washington Post and New York Times (a/k/a Izvestia and Pravda West).
To: jern
So us taxpayers were sold down the river again by our political crooks. Now what?
To: infidel29
I don't care if he was a POW, McCain has lost any shred of respect I had for him. I want him to run for President just so I can have the chance to vote for Mickey Mouse over him.
