LIVE: WA State Governor election-fraud trial begins
TVW (WA public affairs cable) ^ | May 23, 2005 | Hank Rearden

Posted on 05/23/2005 9:58:24 AM PDT by Hank Rearden

The trial to determine whether Christine Gregoire stole the governor's election last November began today at 9am Pacific time.

(I can save everyone a lot of time . . . SHE DID! . . . . but for some reason the lawyers insist on playing their silly games.

My link is to TVW (essentially local C-SPAN), which is broadcasting the trial live on regional cable, and streaming on their website. More coverage is available here on NWCN as well.

This is a landmark trial, as it looks to expose massive 'Rat corruption and voter fraud.

Come to Washington - we vote all year long!

Naw, we vote in a general election once. Unfortunately, our votes aren't actually counted, they're "interpreted" in one "recount" after another. If the "interpretation" comes differently than what the Dems want, then they bolster it with various private stashes of blank or "gee, lookee at what we found" ballots, and then they "re-interpret" the results. Eventually, they get what they want.

And that is why they are in court.

I've been going to soundpolitics.com almost daily since January. No matter what happens this great website has documented for all to see how dishonest the WA dems are and dems in general (Kerry sent leftover funds to finance the sham of a recount).

For those less knowledgeable about the whole mess, when you go to soundpolitics.com first check out the timelines posted on the right column. You will be nothing but astounded, even by dem standards, of what shenanigans have gone on.

Just before recessing for 1.5 hour lunch break, the Judge said,

"Counsel I don't want to take all afternoon with housekeeping matters. I want to GET INTO THIS CASE."

Start packing, Chrissy.

Yeah, I heard that line too, out of the corner of my ear.

This might get interesting; even the judge is already getting antsy.

As long as she is governor, I live in a state without the rule of law, and live my life accordingly.

Part of me kind of hopes she stays in - I save a ton of driving time ignoring red left turn arrows, and treating red lights like stop signs (when there aren't cops around of course).

But if she goes, I will again recognise the states authority, which could really increase my driving time...

Bay, did you listen to this steaming pile? The Dem lawyer argued against the Repubs case, then turned around and argued the Republicans are right, and it actually helped Gregoire, not Rossi. Or something like that. I'm still confused. It was rambling and incoherent.

Or am I rambling and incoherent?

I need a drink....... ;o)

It was suggested to me that we request you change the thread title to "LIVE: WA State Governor election-fraud trial begins" because it is live, links to live coverage and is sorta urgent and timely.

Seems like a good idea to me.

Only hope it hasn't been "fixed." But honestly, listening to the rats today it was mind-boggling. To paraphrase: Even if the (mistaken) votes changed the election winner, they were mistakes not intentional, the Republicans can't name the ballot stuffers or prove the dead person actually signed the ballot, the courts shouldn't get involved because it is political - so let's dimiss! Nothing to see here!

And then there was that county auditor! What an embarassment!!! I can't wait to see the Shark's take on that!

He said he was speaking for all of the other auditors in the state. If I was another auditor, I would immediately hold a press conference and announce that this guy DOES NOT speak for me!

From Sound Politics comments section:

Is this dem guy a joke? Am I listening to the right audio stream?? What the heck? Have you guys heard his arguments for "offsetting errors"?

For anyone who's not listening, here's my brief, real-time synopsis:

...And now he's talking about how Stevens county doesn't verify signatures on provisional ballots, which is supposed to "offset" King County's provisional ballot nightmare??? Let's see, first off, I see that Stevens county had about 20,000 ballots. Total. King had almost 900,000. But they offset each other....yeah, right!

Oh, now here's the sob story about some lady who couldn't vote for Gregoire because the county "merged" her record with someone else's...

...now claiming 159 voters were disenfranchised due to mistakes at KC elections...he says Republicans are saying it's ridiculous to count those 159 votes NOW (which it is), but if I'm hearing him right, he's suggesting that they now count 159 additional (previously-uncounted) ballots! NOW!! And using signatures from people's driver's license, not the registered voter signature database! What is this guy smoking? Yep, he just said they're going to subpoena these uncounted ballots and bring them to the courtroom and get them added to the count!

That move REEKS of desperation if you ask me....

...people who moved and had problems with their registrations, so they were rejected...those need to be counted and added to the total too...etc....

Me, too. In fact, as a business owner, I would heartily support withholding our payroll, B&O and sales tax deposits if this case devolves into an obvious coverup. I'm wondering if the people are willing to rise up and really do something meaningful that would hurt/strangle the parasites if they insist on perpetuating open fraud.

Another one from Sound Politics comments:

The respondant's lawyer states (I'm paraphrasing) regarding bad ballot totals...

"someone might have simply forgotten to sign the poll book..."

Ummm... they aren't supposed to get a ballot until they sign it.

"Someone might have simply walked into their polling place and and put an absentee ballot into the accuvote machine. That person is still a valid voter..."

Since there is no signature to verify that, you know that how...?

"Overturning an election will open the door up to all sorts of litigation..."

He's right, we must never disturb the status quo.

Most of his arguments are just weak. You mean to tell me the Democrat's don't have someone better than this?

I pray that Judge Bridges and the Washington Supreme Court will do what is truly in the best interest of all the citizens of Washington State. If we don't get to the bottom of this election mess, we will never be confident in another election.

Bring the Feds in!!!
