The trial to determine whether Christine Gregoire stole the governor's election last November began today at 9am Pacific time.
(I can save everyone a lot of time . . . SHE DID! . . . . but for some reason the lawyers insist on playing their silly games.
My link is to TVW (essentially local C-SPAN), which is broadcasting the trial live on regional cable, and streaming on their website. More coverage is available here on NWCN as well.
This is a landmark trial, as it looks to expose massive 'Rat corruption and voter fraud.
By law our votes are SECRET, so he is saying there can be ino illegl votes because we can't name who voted for whom. ??? What the ?
CTTT Can you believe that SIX MONTHS AFTER the election, that WA Democrat Chair Paul Berendt is saying that Christine Gregoire STILL has UNCOUNTED VOTES in King County elections office? What the heck????
LOLOL Come to Washington - we vote all year long!
Admin Mod, can you put this on the sidebar? It is just happening and really is important.
Dem appointed, but supposedly VERY fair.....we shall see.
This Demo lawyer is putting me to sleep.
Hey...Libertina.....can you tell me who is doing the talking right now on KVI.....I came into it again in the middle.....
Nevermind.....spunky answered my question....LOL
Sorry, I didn't catch his name, but he is the attorney for the Dems.
Glad I saved my Rossi yard sign, I may be needing it again in November.
I remember hearing somewhere Judge Bridges and Booth Gardner (with a bid D) being mentioned together. I can't remember exactly what it was about, however.
I have also heard the 'pubs were happy with the choice, so maybe he can separate politics from law. We'll see.
Well said. One good thing that could come out of this is proper certification of elections. King County has already admitted that they couldn't even satisfy their own loose certification standards, and yet they declared the results certified anyways. If, in the future, the result of this court case keeps uncertifiable elections from being certified, we will have won something big.
I'll be curious to see if Dean Logan (or anybody else) will be prosecuted for fraud. Signing off the election as certified when the result was unknown should be criminal. Not holding my breath on that one. I know why they certified it, though; if they hadn't done so by the deadline, King County's results would not have been counted in the state total. (hey, I can dream, can't I). ;-)
Does anyone know if it's being carried on any radio stations up north? I'm in Bellingham and unfortunately KVI doesn't come thru very well up here.
If you want the full scoop along with the daily scoop then there is only one place - the place that did much of the leg work uncovering the fraud.

The judge has already ruled that the Republicans dopn't have to prove for whom they cast their votes.
Nobody really knows. But this article gives a few clues, and even quotes our favorite local blog:
Still, what about that earring? Bridges got it a few years ago -- an unusual fashion statement in a conservative town.
At the conservative blog Soundpolitics.com, one poster with the screen name "righton" fretted: "Unless he's a right-wing, Harley-riding ex-hippie, I remain nervous about his politics."
Jeffery Egan (Evan?), assistant attorney general up now.
I just learned last night that Josh Bolton, the director of the OMB, rides a newer version of the same model Harley as me.
Perhaps there's a glimmer of hope in D.C. after all. But I doubt it.
