Dollars to doughnuts Graham will be squishy. I don't forget that he voted against one of the articles of impeachment, due to some convoluted legal thinking.

Will ANY of the Sunday shows care to question this
MoveOn.org's ad using & insulting Pope Benedict XVI with this blurb
"God Already has a Job. He does not need one on the Supreme Court. Protect the Supreme Court Rules." ? They questioned Swiftboat vets on all the shows.

Graham will never do that, he feels he is elected for life regardless of how he votes or what he does.
To: Miss Marple
Right I take it he is not one to trust as he has some strange ideas am I interpreting correcting?

Myself, I think it is impossible to disguise his arrogant, smug, angry character, even when he is mouthing platitudes. Miss Marple, just think what a a$$ he must have been like when he was drunk.

Dollars to doughnuts Graham will be squishy. I don't forget that he voted against one of the articles of impeachment, due to some convoluted legal thinking. It has to be embarassing to Graham, when Chuck Hagel behaves responsibly, refusing to participate in the compromise talks on judges and joining with others demanding up or down vote.

Any squishiness on voting on and for these judicial nominees at this point will result in SC Republicans SQUUSHING [sic] Graham's senate career.

You are understanding correctly. Senator Graham was one of the Impeachment Managers from the House during Clinton's impeachment. After getting elected as a Senator, he has shown himself to be a McCain disciple
par excellence. He ginned up the Abu Ghraib scandal with his comments about there were even worse pictures the public hadn't seen (not true). He has been cozying up to Senator Clinton. And now he is trying to engineer this stupid compromise on the judges which NO ONE wants except the democrats and a few timid Republican senators.

I saw most of it Yaya--very slick.
The main thrust on Chrissy's show was to slickly derail the war in Iraq and give Mr. and Mrs. Bubba another boost to run in 08. They went about it with the following rat players, using Time's Joe Klein, Andrea(Mitchell)Greenspan(who had an unexpected moment of lucidness), Another Chrrissy groupie chatty Katty Kay of the L/W BBC press and our all time hero Tommmmiieee Friedman,(we rule the written press) of the NYslimes.
One of the shows thrusts was to poo-poo the war since "the Sunnis are not being included". They set up a scenario that "we are creating a civil war situation" (must be running out of excuses for us to fail). This is where Andrea had a surprise statement of something to the effect of "GW has set up a powerful force for Democracy(Iraq) in the middle of a field of Arab nations", semi-positive statement from Andrea, most unexpected.
The new slimmer crhissy seems desperate to unseat fat tim, but that won't happen.
They spent the rest of the show shilling for Bill and hill, and what if's when they get in office, will bill stop chasing chicks will he be a sort of co-president,(no he will be lucky if hillary does not send him to Siberia), and other assorted crap. They all think she will and is running, no surprise.
Thanks for the thread as usual AB.

Goodness me this guy Graham sounds way outMere speculation here, but it seems to me that Graham is merely trying to make McCain-like political moves and it is not working for him.

Eleanor (Ellie-anus) Clift just appeared on the regular FOX news channel as the spokesperson for Neweak and, boy, was she subdued and contrite! I've never seen her so chastened - and this for her publication's screw-up, not her own.
