Frist is a lousy candidate for '08. He is not, not, NOT presidential timber. Maybe. But if he carries this through to fruition we'll at least know he's got more backbone than Trent Lott and that throwing Lott overboard when we had the chance was the right thing to do.
Sen. Co-chairs would never have the stones to do this.
