Maybe. But if he carries this through to fruition we'll at least know he's got more backbone than Trent Lott and that throwing Lott overboard when we had the chance was the right thing to do.

You're wrong about Lott and you're dead wrong about Frist. Frist has been a spineless "leader" and if he pulls this off ( which he had better do ! ), that still won't make him a viable presidential candidate in '08.
