Anyone watching the BBC international report on TV can see the incredible propaganda damage done to the US by these swine at newspoop.
The lead story was "newsweek retracts" but went on to be an all out America bash with a "guest" saying the allegations are prob true anyway and Bush just pressured the mag into a retraction.
Absolutely sickening.

The islamic rage was already there. This is a meaningless matter. The rage and hatred was already there, what Newsweak does or doesn't do it irrelevent.

A more willfully ignorant (the willfully part is key), more hateful bunch you'll never find.

Another on a long list of reasons why I left that party after 32 years. I felt contaminated being a dimocrap. They have truly gone over the edge and are in a never ending free-fall.

"Whenever I start to think I may be overreacting in my hatred for the left I drop by DU. I feel like the nicest person! A more willfully ignorant (the willfully part is key), more hateful bunch you'll never find."

Exactly. They couldn't even get through a thread requesting a stop to their infighting started by their own admin without going after each other with vulgarities. They just don't get it.

If I yell "fire" in a crowded theater when there is no fire,

Sure, but this is like yelling "THEY ARE OUT OF BUTTER FOR THE POPCORN". Could you imagine a violent uprising by Christians for this alleged behavior?

You and others are excusing the actions of some very deranged folks because of the hatred toward the MSM.

But are they going to sacrifice a maiden to the gods of liberal media to purify themselves? Or maybe let the Afghanis teach them how to stone bad journalists?

You know what's coming now, don't you?

Just wait, the Hilldebeast will point to the escalated violence and the Newsweek 'error' as evidence of the "current administration's inabilibyt to manage the war on terror and improve relations with the Muslims"

Think about it: No more military appropriation bills. Just call those B2 formations 'Stealth Art' and get money from the NEA!

DUers remind me of a scene in The Wild Bunch, in which some little kids are enjoying the sight of fire ants crawling over and killing a scorpion.

"Pressure from the extremists in the White House" is a bunch of bull$88t!!! If the entire article were true, Newsweak would never have apologized. They did, so they lied. Enough said!!!!

This will hurt Newsweeek and all the liberal press. The story made me suspicious from the beginning. Now that it has farted in their faces, they have much to live down. One episode after another has exposed them for what they are.

I heard Isikoff on the radio today, but was unable to listen that closely. It seemed as though he was shifting the blame off onto others, as in "they decided to go with it with the sources we had".

Isikoff has always given me the creeps.

Isikoff has always given me the creeps.

But Spikey has his uses. Which is why I doubt he'll go bye-bye after this.
