Are they comfy? Not really, but they are better than C-130's. As for a VIP version, I rather doubt it, although they might have flown her in a C-5, which has somewhat better seats....

C-17s are incredibly wide, endthematrix. And can be set up with plush airline-type VIP or DV (Distinguished Visitor)seats and small tables. Though the regular modular seats (Not nylon drop-down bulkhead mounted seats) are quite comfortable.
