Outrageous. Now the question remains: were those really Newt Gingrich's remarks (about what a wonderful person Hillary is) that Rush was ranting about yesterday?

When Ken Starr sent the e-mail to Rush, this had a bigger effect than a press conference would have had. The MSM would have ignored it, but Rush can't be ignored.

The only thing that amazes me is that it took a full day before any of us were aware that CBS "cut and pasted" the Starr interview. I can't wait to see the entire transcript.

I was furious at Ken Starr after the initial reports. I'm glad the record is being set straight. What gall of these liar to hold back the transcripts!!

Hey, CBS! Thanks for undercutting the moral position of that side of the argument. This only serves to help the conservatives.

I can't believe those dolts thought they could pull it off.

I have come to the conclusion that the "dolts" can't think. Pumping one-sided propaganda and distortions have become simply autonomous reflexes for SeeBS, et. al.

With the proliferation of new media outlets, even a minimum of thought would have told them they would get burned for this, which is why I am convinced their ability to think has atrophied.

For 50 years, they had no reason to think. Now they can't.

I heard Rush talk about this too. Truly astounding. The Democrat Party is a criminal enterprise. If Fox News had done something like this we would never hear the end of it.

Lately people have been trusting the LA Times as well! Does that tell you something?

Must admit I was wrong about Ken Starr -- after Newt yesterday, I was ready to believe almost anything. Is the Newt with Hillary story correct or did part of that get slanted?

This is FRAUD that is perpetrated against the American public and should be investigated by the FCC.

Agreed. Deliberate fraud is grounds for the FCC to revoke their license, or at the very least impose severe fines. Public pressure should be brought to bear on the FCC to enforce its regulations.

"Republicans voted (rightly) to confirm a former ACLU staff lawyer. They disagreed with her positions as a lawyer, but they voted (again, rightly) to confirm her."

Huh?

We disagree with Ginzburg's positions but it is "right" to confirm her to the USSC?

Excuse me, but I have a major cognitive dissonance here.

Reminds me of an old Mad Magazine bit where they spoofed movie ads, showing how they manipulated negative reviews into sounding like positive reviews. Thus a review which said: "This movie is a brilliant example of the decline of Joe Blow's acting ability. His ineptitude is truly stunning" becomes in the movie ad: " . . . brilliant . . . stunning . . . "

There were lots of people in here yesterday blasting Starr for those comments, calling him a "wuss" etc. Maybe they owe him an apology.

"Ken Starr, you need a press conference & get the record straight. Do it NOW!"

And what are the odds that press conference would be covered by CBS?

"[O]ur friends are way off base in assuming that the CBS snippets, as used, represent (a) my views, or (b) what I in fact said."

geeze louise, the depth of arrogance at See-BS is an abyss. Bernie Goldberg is constantly being vindicated.
