"I have seen the two wheel variety drive between cars in heavy traffic, not use their signals, cut me off in traffic, etc.

It is difficult to sympathize when they drive like this."

-I agree. While I think there is no excuse for what the driver of the truck did, if those of you bikers out there posting on this thread want some empathy, then tell your brethren to stop being a**holes in traffic by passing full speed between two cars in side by side lanes or weaving in and out of traffic during tie ups as if, waiting is something people in cars do and that two wheeled vehicles can go where they like. Its this type of constant biker behavior that gets those of us in four wheeled vehicles to the point where our reflexive thought is: "You guys have it coming."

I just see nothing but filth in the biker subculture

If that's what you see, your eyes are bad - very bad.

Death for passing....yeah, that seems appropriate. Grow up.

It sounds to me like you are more pissed about the bikers being able to move ahead in traffic jams while you are stuck waiting than any other reason. In CA it is legal to ride up the line and pass cars that are stopped in traffic jams. I don't know about other states. However, it has to be done slowly and you must watch for idiots like you opening doors to try to kill bikers, other than that I see nothing wrong with bikers getting ahead in a traffic jam.

I am not blessed with the liberal ideology however and it I never think that just because I am stuck means every one else should be also.

sarcasm on/Maybe you would like to have planes land when you are stuck in traffic, they can pull ahead of you too, you might want to stop them from flying over you/ Sarcasm off

The person in the above article killed 3 innocent people including a 5 week old baby because he was a juvenile ass and wouldn't let someone pass him. You people that can justify that behavior by a cager or a biker are reprehensible.

Tell that to the next motorcycle cop you see.

That is ONE of the advantages of riding a bike, they are smaller and can go more places, not to mention always finding a parking space. Myself, I've always enjoyed the camaraderie among bikers.

By the way, "he didn't do his time", he was in for life and they let him walk.

" I also don't judge people based on their past!" Good for you, how open minded, but you'll find the best predictor of a person future behavior is their past behavior.

They did not let me "walk." I was resentenced on appeal. Funny thing about the law, even the government has to abide by it. They convicted me of one thing and then at sentencing they introduced something else and used that as a basis for my sentence. No permitted under a certain document. You may have heard of it, The Constitution.

As far as past behavior, well I served in the Army for 6 years. Most of it in the Rangers. Got shot in the face for my trouble. But sometimes I guess it is a good predictor. You have probably been an asshole in the past and now...well it is obvious.

You need to buy a clue, Vanna.

Bikers rock. They are some of the most generous people I have ever met -- and I'm not only talking about the weekend warriors.

Ever hear of BACA?

Distribution of tons should have gotten a minimum of life without parole. Better yet the death penalty.

" As far as past behavior, well I served in the Army for 6 years"

Thank you for your service to our country, why'd you throw that all away screwing around with distribution of an illegal substance? It looks like our pussy system has given you a second and hopefully final chance, try getting a job and staying clean.

I still have a valid Maryland motorcycle license but haven't ridden one since 1970 when my son was born.

I have the urge to buy a Harley softail springer, but traffic is too nuts here in Maryland.

I understand you can rent one for a day, week or month. I should do that and get it out of my system.

Well, I guess you are all caught up on your stereotypes and cliches. I have never been a drug user. Hell, I have never even drank. I AM a capitalist, though. That what got me into dealing weed. Since I have gotten out in May 2001 I have gone from being a homeless ex-con to a pretty successful business owner. Have not broken a law (I don't count traffic laws) since my parole and don't plan to.

Hey, what's the cutoff point on this "years experience" thing? Does seat time on my Yamaha 80 count?

Bah! Get a clue. After that, get a life. After that, stop watching "Night of the living Meth dealing grandma beating bikers" on late night tv.
