HIBBS, Pa. (AP) A man angry about an argument chased down a motorcycle and rammed it with his pickup truck, killing the bike's two riders, state police said.

Edward A. Belch, 44, of McClellandtown, apparently got in an argument with the motorcycle's passengers Tuesday evening, authorities said. The two people then got on the motorcycle and left, and Belch followed them on state Route 21, passing other vehicles, until he hit the motorcycle, police said.

Terri Lynn Gresko, 44, and a 54-year-old man whom police didn't immediately identify died at the scene.

Belch was being held in the Fayette County jail Wednesday after being arraigned on two counts of criminal homicide Tuesday. It was not clear what the argument was or how Belch knew the other two people, state police said.

One thing that happens often to me on my bike is that some people just speed up when I try to pass them. Even if there are two lanes going the same way.

A few weeks ago I drove by where the highway patrol had set up a speed trap. I was on my way back to my gas station after work because I had forgotten something. On the way back I go to pass this truck but it sped up. I stayed about even with his rear fender as he accelerated. This of course made him speed up more so I sped up.

The cops had set up their speed trap about a 1/4 mile from this curve. You could not see them until they had you nailed. By then the truck and I are doing about 60 in a 35.
We get to the curve. I grab a handful of brake and he gets nailed going around the turn. Dumbass!

Well, since this is confession time...bless me Father for I have sinned.

I found myself tailing a bicycle where the rider decided that the paved shoulder wasn't good enough for him. I honked to pass and without looking back, he spat to his left side...and the honker landed on my windshield.

A mile up the road, coincidentally he stopped at the 7-11 where I was fueling.

He went inside the store and I let the air out of both of his tires.

It felt good.

Dude, you need a tune-up if you can't pass a truck on a bike

Yep... either that or the guts to twist the handle.

I have no use for sanctimonious a$$holes. You probably drive the speed limit in the passing lane, because YOU'RE RIGHT and nobody should be going faster than you!

Oh believe me, either one of my bikes (2002 Yamaha R1 and a 1999 Yamaha V-Max) could have easily blown that truck away. No sport in that. I just stayed even with him to goad him into speeding up. It worked. 8^)

I have no use for bikers, their comments here illustrate why. How about Kill a Biker, Get a Medal.

I have seen my fair share of idiots on two wheels as well as four.

I have seen the two wheel variety drive between cars in heavy traffic, not use their signals, cut me off in traffic, etc.

It is difficult to sympathize when they drive like this.

No, I do 10-20 over the limit in the left lane. I just see nothing but filth in the biker subculture. Sorry, but take an honest look at it. Meth production is controlled by bikers in the US. What percentage of bikers are convicted felons? %50, %60, %90? I hold them in the same light as I hold all felons, South American drug gangs, and smugglers. We don't need them.

I had the same thing happen to me with some jerk he finally had to stop at a light I passed on the right put out my arm and snapped his antenna right off at the base it slammed down on the hood and fell to the ground I continued made my right turn and took off I was to far ahead for him to catch up as the traffic was heavy.

I am super aware of motorcycles, I know a lot of folks that ride bikes, and I know how dangerous it can be for them.

I was riding with my dad a few years ago and I don't think he knows a Harley from a hairpiece, and he is generally an aggressive tailgate type driver. He was a few feet off the tail of a big bike with a couple of passengers on it, and I kept telling him I thought he was too close, that the bike didn't have a lot of protection, and he wouldn't be able to get out of the way if the guy dropped it, etc. He just ignored me.

Eventually the passenger turned around and gave him a full face finger. My dad turned to me surprised and said "Did you see that!"

Honestly, there are a lot of drivers that just don't understand the first things about motorcycles.

Me, I wouldn't drive one. Too many people get killed or busted up bad on those. A years or two ago I was driving up the Northway and saw a dumped bike with the driver under a sheet. The drivers buddy was sitting on the guardrail just stunned, a Sunday drive turned to death and families' lives changed forever.

No thanks.

I guess motorcycles don't have drivers...

For your info, pal, most of the Harley "sub culture" you speak of is Walter Mitty types, dentists on Harleys. Do you have any idea how expensive those things are? I think you've seen too many drive-in movies.
