The Martha story is tired, and I hate to even bring it up since I've grown very sick of her agonizingly prolonged comeback. Unless Martha is prepared to dish about a secret prison love affair with an inmate skilled in making charming gingham origami cranes that double as demure lock picks and pretty sex toys, I wish to learn no more about her ordeal. And even then, I'd have to think twice about it.
But Ms. Stewart is on my mind because I think what has happened to her is about to happen to Hillary Clinton. This does not mean that Hillary is going to end up in jail.
To the contrary, I'm sure she'll come out of the latest controversy that has surrounded her the way she always does - scott free and still campaigning, if not exactly smelling of roses.
But the news that a Clinton fund-raiser seems to have purposely underreported the cost of a 2000 gala for Hillary is sure to have the Senator's supporters pulling a Martha..........

3) When the story about Hillary's apparently wayward fund-raiser ends with a tale -- caught on an FBI wire -- of a Clinton loyalist having prostitutes sent to their room, then later receiving a call from Bill Clinton, promising "the day I'm out of office, I'm going out with you," it is hard to see how anyone could dare even try to play the feminism defense here.
She's not presidential material, that's for sure. Do we really want to live through another Clinton impeachment?

I hope the democratic party will never be rid of them and that they will continue to be the albatrosses around their necks. These two still control the party and still keep it in hard leftist territory. I want Hillary to run and for the nation to repent of it's adultery with them. We need to get good and sick of immorality and with them leading, we had it in buckets.
LaRouch faded so much in the background I thought he was dead until he turned up on the Oklahoma primary ballot -- if only Hillary Clinton would fade into the background that much! :)
I agree with your sentiment regarding Martha, but the sentence above casts a new light on the whole subject, for me anyway. Being both guilty and annoying is a bad combination.

No former First lady or Former President will ever be put in jail in this country. They may be exiles to political oblivion, but no real punishment will be carried out.
I don't care if they got together and chopped down the Washington Monument in the dead of night and then left their calling card on the stump.
Naa, it was simple incompetence. That was the excuse for every clinton foul up during his entire presidency. However, if that wer true, his administration would rival the Keystone Cops for incompetencey.
Hmmmmm? I've been reading all these stories this morning about how Hillary is going to skate again .. she'll never be held accountable .. blah blah blah.
I'm getting suspicious that this is disinformation .. an attempt to sow seeds of doubt and cause people to turn away and not follow the story. Of course, the NYT and the WP are probably ignoring the story anyway .. on purpose.
It's not working for me .. I'm not only paying attention .. I believe there is such a different attitude and mood in America that this will permanent TAINT Hillary and damage beyond repair.
