I like how he is saying the website was odd, and in the next breath he's saying how he wondered on his way to meet somebody if it could be a sting. Seems like the middle of that story got left out. Plus he pled guilty. How come our friend Scot Ritter didn't do any time?

I'm sure Bill is probably able to do a squat on a fire hydrant now that he is in prison. If he is so innocent, why would he immediately plead guilty and avoid a trial. If he was truly innocent, he should have been shouting it from the rooftops. I used to watch him here do the weather and it really is sad to see a guy who had it all, to piss it away for something that he clearly knew was wrong.

The guy's a rationalizer, an operator, a manipulator--probably a sociopath. Not once did he rise above the level of self-pity, or say outright what he was doing in a chatroom devoted to 'man-boy' relationships, or even come clean about his incipient alcoholism. You'd think he would be happy to be stuck with nothing but grownup boys. Unless he is getting some kind of heavy-duty help (if it even works), he is likely to get out of prison and end up repeating the same behavior.

Lived in South Florida for well over 20 years and knew Bill was gay for years. Still can't believe he was stupid enough to do this to his career. He was making well over 125k a yr...he blew it...just blew it.
