I noticed it too. It could have been something the reporter on the horse dropped. Or someone on sidelines threw. It was seen by millions, and was probably investigated. No one on the live KD thread mentioned the incident.

"watch the tape you tell me?"Okay, I'll humor you, that is if this post is up long enough.

The winning jockey of Sunday's Kentucky Derby, Mike Smith, appeared to have dropped an item while next to the outride pony on the back stretch. Nobody is talking about this like they did about Jose Santos two years ago. They should be. Unlike two years ago, this time there is evidence.
Nope ... still doesn't make any sense.

"20.00"
That's not enough to be whining about then.
Though, losing the money you were going to use to pay for GED classes is kinda silly.

"what is cowbell?"
Cowbell is a mushroom that grows on horse apples. They feed the cowbells to a horse just before a race and it gives them both a burst of energy and sense of immortality. That's what you might have seen dropped.

just unimaginible that he lived much past that photo.

You got it
To: TheBigB
It must have been gouda for this jockey and horse to win the Derby with it.
