Bummer. Based on the title, I thought the baby killed the dog to provide nurishment until he was found.

Poverty and the inability to care for the child are seen as the root cause of the problem. My take - Women and the inability to keep their legs closed & Men who can't keep their pants zipped are seen as the root cause of the problem. Poverty is no excuse for women to dump their children

A stray dog in a Third World country has more compassion for innocent human life than the last six Democrat nominees for President.
Something we could have already guessed.

Nothing surprises me much anymore, especially when it comes to people and their disregard for life of any sort.

Maybe I'm a cynic. I'm trying to imagine how the dog actually picked up the baby without hurting it.

The seven-pound infant wasn't even bruised when the stray dog carried her across a busy road and a barbed wire fence.
The unnamed dog lives in a compound bordering the Ngong Forests in Nairobi.
11-year-old Felix Omondi is one of several children who also live in the compound.
The nursing dog was foraging for food for her puppies when it found the baby girl.
