You have to watch this. Jeremy Paxman gives Galloway a much-deserved virtual spanking!

JEREMY PAXMAN: Have you every heard of Tony Banks?

He's a QB for the Houston Texans. Went to Michigan State.

Both of them are losers. Galloway is right, however, in that the questions being asked were ridiculously lame.

i don't know Galloway is but I agree with him that this wasn't an interview, it was badgering along the lines of Rather's interview with Bush 41.

Just because you don't agree with the guy doesn't mean you should dismiss the arrogance of the press in this interview.

Much as I hate to defend Galloway, he was in the right on this one: Paxman's first question was preposterous. Galloway gave several decent answers to it. And Paxman still tried to push it.

Actually Paxman behaved so obnoxiously that he made Galloway seem rather sympathetic. I think they are both A$$ wipes.

JEREMY PAXMAN: What else haven’t you heard of?

Good grief!

Paxman was off the rails on this one. Why shouldn't Galloway win an election if he can do so? Galloway is a corrupt mus-baiter, but his electors didn't have guns to their heads.

Well, you are actually conducting one of the more, even by your standards, one of the most absurd interviews I have ever participated in. I have just won an election.

It reads like a liberal journalist interviewing a conservative in the US.

Galloway is a terrorist-loving scum, and he gets a taste of his own demagoguery in this interview.

(Are you proud of having got rid of one of the very few black women in Parliament?)

This sounds like a question a bigoted liberal reporter would ask. Apparently competence and the will of the people mean nothing compared to skin color according to the interviewer.

Galloway, unfortunately, is right that he was elected by his constituents whether the interviewer likes it or not.

Was Jeremy Paxman the one who sneeringly asked Blair if he and Bush had prayed together on the Crawford ranch ?

Galloway was Saddam's best buddy. If the World listened to the likes of Galloway, terrorists would be killing Britons with impunity.

When I saw the interview live this a.m. and Paxo asked about Tony Banks I must admit my first thought was the group Genesis. Then I remembered our sport loving ex-MP Tony Banks.
