Did the Torie's platform include a retreat from Iraq?

Abortion and gay marriage not really an issue in Britain for either party to promote or otherwise.
That's why I wouldn't characterize the Tories as the UK's version of the GOP. Both the Tories and Labour are steeped in secularism.

And another! Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale, from Labour.

Northern Ireland will report the day after the election. I have no idea why. But it is predicted.

Clywd West in Wales hasn't been declared yet...I still have hope that they can make it 2 in Wales, perhaps 3 with Preseli Pembrokeshire.

I think this is a district made up of a district the Tories won from Labour in 2001.

David Mundell wins that Tory seat in Scotland...good job to him!

Conservative/Tory but you'd be in a tiny minority of the populace today to be far right in UK terms.

This white-haired, Ted Baxter commentator on BBC (David ....) reminds me of our far left 'journalists' in his 'trap' interviewing of that Torie leader.
And so does the John King lookalike, interviewing someone from Dorset West. Smug and supercilious

I wish we had distinctive names for our congressional districts rather that State #1, State #2 ....
To: pbrown
The Conservative Party but you would be on the far right of that Party

How's the voting in Wales? Just wondering how my ancestors that stayed behind in the old country are voting.
