The Vote is under way!
Feels liberating to know who to root for in the British election. TORIES.
Tories gain Braintree
HAMMERSMITH & FULHAM
Haltemprice & Howden
Enfield Southgate
Bethnal Green & Bow
The British constituencies all have names like upscale department stores.
So they're pi**ed about Muslim immigration in certain sections of Britain? Interesting.
The HoL is an unelected body.
He is Saddams $itch. Bought and paid for.
Thanks.
Thanks for the seat-by-seat updates. Probably the most valuable posts to the thread.
Or law firms. ; )
I'm afraid not, the SDLP are about to get wiped out by Sinn Fein, they are abstentionists so they need not be factored in. In 1979 when Jim Callaghan lost his vote of confidence in the House by one vote, they tried to get an abstentionist Irish Republican to vote for him but he went to Westminster and didn't attend, he wanted 'to abstain in person', Irish or what?
Labour 292 (-25), Conservative 98 (+16), LibDems 36 (+7), Scottish National 6 (+2), Plaid Cymru 3 (-1), Independent 2 (+1) (437/646 reporting, Labour needs 42 more to win)
I wish we had substantial third parties in the American system. Because right now, I'm unhappy with both major political parties. The Israeli system, with their multiple parties, sounds like my kind of system.
Very first Tory loss of the night...Adrian Flook loses Taunton to the Lib Dems.
And thank you! ;)
Gah. Tories lose Taunton to the LibDems.
Qwinn
You would be considered a Far-Right Conservative.
Darn. Well, I didn't figure to hold every seat.
