"He's one of my favs. My girls are afraid of him though. I guess his voice and demeanor scares them. I kid them about it, telling them in my best Bela Lugosi voice, "Father Corapi is coming to get you!"
That's a good one!! I absolutely LOVE his voice! Very strong. His story is still one of my favorites. My kids know who he is now because I quiz them everytime he's on the radio! ;-)
Priest and former Ranger. You can't beat a combo like that. I remember the first time I heard him on shortwave. I thought, "who is this guy?" His voice is the voice I imagine God having.

Everyone should hear it. It's incredible. One highlight is when he's wrapping up his hour long first confession in twenty years. The priest says, "did you notice the time? 3 o'clock. The hour when Jesus died." "Yes, and I have something to tell you father." "What's that?" "I'm going to be a priest." The priest stammered, "Well, anything's possible with God"! 8-)
