Hayworth Statement at Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus News Conference
"What the Minutemen proved to the American people was this: the federal government can do something about illegal immigration other than to raise a white flag and surrender to the invasion on our southern border.
"Now it's up to every American to get involved in this critical struggle to preserve our security and our sovereignty by demanding that this administration and this Congress stop thinking about amnesty and start enforcing our immigration laws.
"I saw the Minutemen at the border up close and in person and I was amazed by their discipline, their resolve, and the results they achieved. These are extraordinary Americans from all walks of life who followed their constitutional right to petition their government for redress of a grievance, in this case, the abject failure of the federal government to secure our borders.
"And for that they were maligned far and wide by hysterical editorial writers and the presidents of the United States and Mexico.
"But their mission was an unqualified success. They not only discouraged the illegal crossing of our border if only temporarily but they also cast light on a national disgrace and I hope more Members of Congress and more officials in this administration will see the light and join us to strongly enforce our laws against illegal immigration."
I think he should run in 2008. He has everything needed to win.
then Hayworth for 8 more years.
I have seen this guy on Fox News, he is good, he has the excellent presence of a hale and hearty friend well met.
Unfortunately, McPain just won another six years in November. (sound of nails on chalkboard)
Prayers for Laura Ingraham, Tony Snow and Zell Miller.

If I type it enough times, eventually one of you guys will figure it out.
So was Dave Dreier in California, then he got on the bandwagon. For political reasons, of course.
No good deed goes unpunished.
You couldn't beat the Mexicans lead by brother Santa Anna at the Alamo - You're certainly not going to beat Mara Salvatrucha with a bunch of fat old ex-supply sergeants.
There have been quite a few R's who have changed their tune on the MMP...I hope that many more will do so and start fixing a major problem that may ultimately lead to alot of deaths right here on our soil once again.
