What does your pay roll tax cover is it just for SS or does it include other things?

I think the answer is....payroll tax for SS, plus funds for indigent children, and those who lose parent(s).....also, I believe for some children's other services if they have no parent...but, ya know...I'm NOT an expert on SS...LOL

PS most people will tell you that "the employer pays half of the 15%" but they forget that the payroll tax is part of your "cost of employment"

Your payroll tax covers the payments to beneficiaries, what's left over Congress spends on anything they damn well please. That's where it goes, anywhere and everywhere, the general fund. There is NO investment of this money.
