I have to say that President Bush is doing SO great tonight---don't know who will complain except those that would complain if he came out and said he found the cure for cancer and also all the troops from all over the world were coming home....

What I loved was that he said Congress has private accounts (TSP)--so if it's good for Congress why not for non-governmental workers? YESSS!!!

DUDE- pass what ever you are smoking. This press conference is a bust. His speaking has been horrible, jokes flat (and attempts at humor), nothing fluid. W is not convincing anyone on social security, judges, or Iraq. Does not sounds strong at all - stutters. And he should not have called President Putin by his first name "Vladimir." Bad form.

Clinton, now that man could do a press conference. Yeah, everything he said was a lie, but he could sell them.

Didn't have a chance to watch the press conference, but, turned on tv to see Joe Scarborough announce that although President Bush looked more confident tonight than in his first term, he basically laid a huge egg tonight ( my words, his inference. )
Glad to read so many positive remarks by Freepers who must have seen a different press conf than Joe.
