Manufactured rage, IMO.

I haven't heard anybody saying anything about it except the media.

"Gee, if born after 1950 we're all f$%%^$ed by Big Stupid Government"

You'll have a better chance if this man gets his way on this. I don't want the government to do to you what has been done to me. If I could have invested all of that money, I'd be in good shape. I want that for young people. I want government to stop robbing them for pork and for insuring their own reelection.

David Gregory is now arguing with the President of the United States.

The MSM is the enemy within.

Agree - This (SS) was a money/power grab from the outset with ages to receive benefits always higher than the average lifespan (Now that we are living longer they will raise it accordingly). It has been an off budget funding source since the mid 60's and it is simply a rip off masquerading as a retirement assist. Now that they have wasted several Trillion with these off budget borrowings they want the issue more debt to inflict this waste on the people. They call this debt 'Transition Costs'.

"Why are you surprised that it is a value in this country that poor get a break in a lot of ways."

Works fine until you get to the point where there are more people riding in the wagon than there are pulling. We're just about there.

TV is about 3-5 seconds behind radio. What is it with that?

Truth is turkeys can fly, wild turkeys that is. My husband's dream would come true during hunting season if wild turkeys couldn't fly, LOL.

Domestic turkeys can't fly because they fatten them up so much they're too heavy to fly.

It's not bad news, really. It's a step in the right direction. You will be able to put part of your SS taxes into something that's your own money and that will grow much faster and that your family will get if, God forbid, a truck hits you.

It's amazing how many people think they will continue to receive husband/wife's SS if that person dies. Wrong-o-mongo, that money is gone, baby.

I would have liked the President to say that it isn't right to keep someone off the bench because they are pro life or disagree with the homosexual lifestyle, because that is what it is. Oh well.

Oh, Bush points out to John "I Didn't Get Rather's Job" Roberts that he wasn't paying attention during his opening statement!
