That's great!

I only have the experience so far with the elementary school, but friends with older kids say it continues up into the middle and high schools here.

We moved from Delaware to Virginia in part because the district we lived in fits every stereotype that can be used about public schools.

It seems to me that you made the right move!

If you stay involved in school and at home with your kids, they should turn out to be okay!

So far my kids haven't bought in to the BS some of their teachers try to pass on and are independent thinkers!

We as parents are always engaging our kids in discussions and are willing to listen to their opinions about any issue!

They come to us when they heard something in school that doesn't seem right and ask our opinion on the issue and when we confirm their suspicions, they say thats what I thought and how some of their peers blindly buy it!
