I'm starting a live thread. Draft is on now. San Francisco is on the clock.
I would love to see them draft some like Deon Sanders.
Your right, its past time to be a contender again.
I think they'll take Rodgers, just because he's a local star and the difference between the two QBs isn't significant.
LOL on that armadillo.
Wasnt there some backroom wheeling and dealing last year? (after the #1 pick, I guess)
Lions will probaly draft a WR....just kidding...they need a QB
C'mon Nick....let's DO IT !
Pollack is good against both the run & the pass. If the Lions take him, look for Redding to go from DE back to DT to replace Big Daddy Wilkinson.
they got Bledsoe and I think he is still a servicable QB, assuming the Cowboys can protect him.....

I understand that. This would make perfect sense for the Browns because their team is going to have to be rebuilt, even with our new coach.
Guess I don't know how fast the Niners want to return to winning. Their situation is like the Browns, so, maybe they will trade down. The Browns are at the third pick. They need a QB badly. So the question is do they get one at three, or go elsewhere?
Ping good buddy.
the Niners originally said they wanted Aaron, but lately all their talk has been for Smith.....i heard Smith was more impressive in the Scout Combine
OH THOSE BILLS!!!!!! gggrrrrrrrr....
But for every Peyton Manning, Ben Rothlisberger, Troy Aikman, Michael Vick, and Donovan McNabb, there's Ryan Leaf, Cade McNown, Andre Ware, and Akili Smith.
They are pretty well devestated. Their only victories were over Arizona. I don't think Frisco can be rebuilt in a day.

I don't see the Browns going the QB route in the first perhaps Jason Campbell or Charlie Frye in the second.
I'm not huge on drafting the QB position. I kind of like their 2 young ones and if neither can be the QB of the future, then there is always free agency.
Speaking of BIG BUSTS..remember Tony Mandarich..?
I'd love it if Alex Smith dropped to 10, but it won't happen. The Lions have no glaring needs, so it wouldn't surprised me if they traded their 10 pick.
I remember Mandrich. Picked 2nd. We had the 3rd pick. Barry Sanders.
Millen has said the Lions will take the best player available at 10. Of course, he also said that Pacman Jones is his top pick. Tons of smokescreens going on today.
