I'm starting a live thread. Draft is on now. San Francisco is on the clock.
Any glimpse of hope for the Cowboys?
Is there a link of the team's order in the draft?

2 1st round picks, 11th and 20th overall...surely we will come home with someone good.
I read they are mostly looking for a pass rush and defense help.
see "D day has arrived" on the Dallas Cowboy web site:

That's why they'd want to trade down, for more picks, because like you said they need all the help they can get. Just like our Cleveland Browns.
Niners will take Alex Smith QB
Niners have also said they will take a trade...
And if they trade down, they can get MORE picks. So they can get MORE help than just one player at the top.
I wonder whose career the Browns will ruin this year....
The Cowboys must come out of this with star players. This franchise, in my view, is teetering. A few more losing seasons and they will no longer be America's most popular sports franchise.
Lions may trade down too. Rumor is they may take Derrick Johnson of Texas, but also like David Pollack of Georgia who is rated around 18/19.
thats standard in the draft for whoever has the # 1 overall pick.....they won't trade their pick. They want Smith
Well, they have so many holes that instead of one pick at the very top, they trade down and get two picks in the first/second round--both of which can be starters.
Curse the Bills and their surprisingly good season!
Bumpin' that, Dan.
jerry jones loves drew henson. Parcells doesn't
