Those people who don't vaccinate are the reason we still have these diseases affecting our society.
We have possible cases of whooping cough right here where I live. The year 2005 and we stil have to deal with whooping cough...unbelievable.

This supposition is inaccurate. Most vaccinations are not permanent.

Instead of simply repeating the party line, try doing some research and come to your own conclusions.

Most people who question the safety of vaccinating are not trying to get rid of the practice altogether, they simply want the medical community to look into making the process safer. If there was absolute safety in vaccinations, why have they recently removed mercury-based components from them?

Right now the medical community has many more reasons to NOT want to investigate this, than they have to actually look into it. Follow the money.

Why is this such a problem for some of you guys to understand? After all, we're not discussing this on DU, where the majority of the blind sheeple hang out.

Arguably, the reason we are still having some of these problems could well be because of all the illegal aliens we are entertaining amongst us -- who arrived without the benefit of inoculation because they're here when they shouldn't be -- oops, does someone think this is racially biased?

Diseases don't usually discriminate by race, but inoculated societies suddenly overwhelmed with un-inoculated populations just might start showing some disease impact -- like, frinstance, tuberculosis, etc.

Yesterday, I took my son to get an x-ray, and seated in the small, cramped office were two young girls with masks on who'd tested positive for tuburculosis. They were clearly contagious. They were foreigners, and a wave of anger overcame me.

Yep lots of whooping cough in California. Illegals bring it it, and now there are people not vaccinated their children.

If my daughters catch it, they will probably die from it. They almost died from RSV (respiratory synctial virus) when they were babies, and RSV is much less severe than whooping cough.
