Perhaps not from the cafes of Rome and Paris and Hollywood. People in third world countries love the values of the Catholic church and it is growing steadily.

YES! He is a VERY good choice. I used to be suspicious of him, but now I think he is an excellent choice. VERY conservative. Arch-conservative, you might say.
Weren't they saying a few nights ago that Benedict was not a propitious choice for a name? Something murky about a past Pope Benedict.

I have no idea, but I'd imagine that only a few are anywhere close to the truth. A possible seed of truth in the future is that one day, there will be a Pope who is the Antichrist.
