I'm not thrilled, myself, just a bit concerned. Some Revelation scholars make predictions around a future Pope.

Hmmmm.....

Edjumacate me, "For Dummies" version if ya have it. :)

On a side note, FOX News says we don't know who it is yet, but the new Pope will be a familiar face.

(Sounds like talking head speculation to me).

The suspense is killing me! Who is it? I'm not sure if it's because I'm retired and have nothing else to do or this Information Age, but I WANT TO KNOW RIGHT NOW!

It's suppose to be within 45 mins. of selection. I read that somewhere....not sure if it is accurate.

According to Michael Jackson: "It don't matter if it's Black or White"

Nobody knows if MJ is even black or white.

This is amazing to watch -- even though I remember watching it before; being informed about what is going on makes it all the more exciting.

Gosh, people are STILL leaving their homes and businesses and coming to the square.

Yes, I have 3 favorites...lol.
One in particular: Cardinal Ratzinger.
I think he'd be so good for the Church right now.

I just want a kind, loving, humble and conservative Pope.
One without a drastic agenda.

I'm watching EWTN. I am so excited watching this on TV. I was betting it was going to be tomorrow. This strikes me as really early. My guess would be Ratzinger, but that is worth very very very very very very very very little. Who knows? We shall see.

Somehow that openly gay bishop expected his strange beliefs to be accepted without question.

When all this is over, do they clear the square with Holy Water Cannons?

They will when *I'm* Pope.

OMG Announced on FN that Italian police were not ready for this crowd and no protection available. I do hope nothing untoward happens.

Why no Dutchmen?

What remains of Catholicism in Denmark is run by notoriously liberal types. It's been that way forever.

Well, of course the Danish church is liberal if it's all composed of Dutchmen. They can't understand Danish!

Somebody should call Air America and say they saw Diebold machines being snuck out the back of the cahpel.

No need. Is there any better place to swipe an election than a room with a chimney?
