Issues that involve the killing of people who are not terminally can never be just a family matter.

If that were so we could justify murder if it were done by a member of someone's family.

There has to be a line drawn here legislatively.

I thought conservatives were against government involvement and new legislation? It's the Democrats that think drowning the people in laws will lead to protection. It doesn't. It leads to CONTROL of the people. Conservatives are decidedly against that.

Not to mention, you can't legislate morals on the population. They come from a conscience, not a legislature.

When there is no cognitive ability and a family member knows that a person would not want to be kept alive indefinitely with tubes, the family and doctors are better equipped to handle these matters than Congress.

Conservatives used to believe the government should stay OUT of our lives, not encourage them to come in.
