I thought conservatives were against government involvement and new legislation? It's the Democrats that think drowning the people in laws will lead to protection. It doesn't. It leads to CONTROL of the people. Conservatives are decidedly against that.
Not to mention, you can't legislate morals on the population. They come from a conscience, not a legislature.
