When there is no cognitive ability and a family member knows that a person would not want to be kept alive indefinitely with tubes, the family and doctors are better equipped to handle these matters than Congress.

So are you saying that the judiciary is not "part of the government"? It was the judiciary which caused the death, it was the police who arrested folks for trying to give her water. You are fooling yourself if you do not think the government was involved. It was the STATE that had her killed.
