Maybe somebody flushed San Francisco.

I can't understand why. Gavin Newsom has been so aggressively pro-business. He certainly hasn't allowed meaningless grandstanding or shameless electioneering interfere with his drive to make San Francisco an economic powerhouse.

Economists and planners, who say population growth is linked to economic growth, see the Bay Area's modest increase -- an estimated 9,895 more people in July 2004 than a year earlier -- as a sign that the nine-county region's job prospects are improving. Ha! We get that many new illegals every week.

What's the fertility rate in San Francisco? How come the ladies aren't pumping out more babies? Oh, hang on ... I think I figured it out ...

Maybe because homosexuals can't reproduce? At least we have something to be thankful for.

I'm hoping for a 9.0 earthquake to remove San Fran from the map.

Well duh. Only the MSM couldn't figure this one out. The city is populated by gays and liberals, so all the normal people (who tend to have 2 or more children) have all left.

San Francisco, which lost 7,678 residents last year, dropping to 744,230 people, had the largest and steepest population decline of any county in the state,<<<
Well, Duh. Homosexuals do not reproduce.

-- but the number of people in San Francisco continued the downward slide that began in 2000, the U.S. Census Bureau reported Thursday. Butt Rangers don't reproduce

Jeez, from the upward sprialing cost of homes in Marin county, one would not conclude that there is excess supply on the market. I do know that some additional housing could be made available by deporting all the illegals in San Rafael. Would probably reduce highway congestion for a while also.
