Yep crabbie....my thoughts exactly...BTW thank you kindly for the compliment in your earlier post to Cindy. Also, the market is down again today, for the third day in a row.
LOL...no kidding...maybe then the sheeple would pay more attention to where their hard-earned tax money is going...or in some cases "not" going.
Yep, I saw that.
I'm glad they caught that problem.
Death and taxes....
Yep.
Thanks bored at work.
That's very sad.

Two of Pakistan's international airports were put on high alert on Friday because of a terror threat, a security official said. "We have put Karachi and Lahore international airports on high-security alert after some specific aviation-related threats," Major Riaz Ahmad, a spokesman for the Airport Security Force, told Reuters.
"Security at both these airport has been beefed up on an intelligence report," he said without providing details. Earlier this week, the U.S. consulate in Karachi remained closed for three days after its officials received threatening telephone calls. It was not clear whether the threats were linked.

That's interesting.
Thanks Godzilla.
Now, of course, this recent 'roundup' begs the question, "Why now?"

Too many intersections in the time period to suit me...

Bush questions border I.D. rules
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Plans requiring passports from people entering the United States don't pass muster with President Bush, who has ordered a review of this border security effort amid fears it would impede legal travel from Canada, Mexico and other U.S. neighbors.

Gingrich: Hillary Tough to Beat in 2008
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is warning Republicans that New York Sen. Hillary Clinton will be a "very formidable" presidential candidate in 2008 who "might even win."
"I think any Republican who thinks she's going to be easy to beat has a total amnesia about the history of the Clintons," Gingrich told the American Society of Newspaper Editors, in quotes picked up by the New York Times.
He also warned that "the smartest American politician" - her husband - will be her chief political adviser.
Because the team of Clinton and Clinton are "that good tactically," Gingrich said, Republicans will have to work overtime to overcome their advantage.
"If we don't prove that we have better solutions, that we're in touch with reality and that we're prepared to do things on the scale that the future requires, we will not be guaranteed of beating Hillary in a tactical race."
Clinton could even pick up some Southern states if she moderates her abortion stance, Gingrich said, explaining, "There's a zone where you can be pro-choice, with modification, that could carry the South.
"You probably have to be at least against partial-term abortion," he said.
