AND I just saw this in the same article:
"Lull had been chief of nuclear medicine at the hospital since 1990 and served as a radiology professor at UC San Francisco.
Last year, Lull lectured in San Francisco about the threat of nuclear terrorism"
Some very interesting links there Davey. Thank you.
"At this point, we can't say what the circumstances were, but we know he was the victim of a homicide,'' said San Francisco police Inspector Holly Pera. "We're piecing together evidence at the scene.''
Nice choice of words.
Plan would let FBI track mail in terrorism inquiries
Speaking of "piecing together evidence at the scene," an autopsy on the mother and boyfriend at the triple Idaho murder shows drug usage in both, although the type of drug was not indicated. The victims were battered to death and initial reports on TV said the victims were bound, which is sometimes a method used by gangs. The two young children are still missing and the alleged sighting in Bonners Ferry was evidentally not a valid sighting.
Thanks to MamaDearest for pointing to this article:

Insurgents Attack Abu Ghraib; Five Detainees Wounded
American Forces Press Service
WASHINGTON, May 20, 2005 Five detainees were wounded in an insurgent rocket attack on Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison today, military officials reported.
Three of the five had serious injuries.
The rocket landed in one of the internment facility's detainee compounds at about 10:15 a.m. U.S. forces quickly responded to defend the facility and safeguard the detainees, U.S. military officials said. The injured were immediately taken to the 115th Field Hospital.
Officials said no coalition forces were injured in the incident.
Also in Iraq, a 1st Corps Support Command soldier was killed in a vehicle accident after an improvised-explosive-device attack during a logistics patrol north of Taji today. The soldier was evacuated to a nearby medical facility, where he was pronounced dead. The name of the soldier is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
In other news, tips from Iraqi civilians in western Mosul led to the seizure of three weapons caches on May 19 by multinational forces, U.S. military officials announced.
Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, discovered two weapons caches during separate search operations. The soldiers confiscated five artillery rounds, a rocket-propelled-grenade launcher, 12 grenades, and an automatic rifle.
Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, seized a large weapons cache during a cordon-and-search operation south of Mosul. The cache included 31 anti-tank mines, 22 grenades, 70 large machine gun rounds, 31 mortar rounds, and two smoke grenades.

Travel Warning
United States Department of State
Bureau of Consular Affairs
Washington, DC 20520
This information is current as of today, Sat May 21 2005 01:01:43 GMT-0700.
NIGERIA
May 20, 2005
This Travel Warning for Nigeria is being issued to update information on road travel and business scams, and to note concern about the presence of groups and individuals linked to international terrorism. The Department of State continues to warn U.S. citizens of the dangers of travel to the country. This Travel Warning supersedes the Travel Warning issued July 19, 2004.
The lack of law and order in Nigeria poses considerable risks to travelers. Violent crime committed by ordinary criminals, as well as by persons in police and military uniforms, can occur throughout the country. Kidnapping for ransom of persons associated with the petroleum sector, including U.S. citizens, remains common in the Niger Delta area. Religious tension between some Muslim and Christian communities results in occasional acts of isolated communal violence that could erupt quickly and without warning. The states of Kano and Kaduna are particularly volatile. Rival ethnic groups have clashed violently in the Niger Delta region around Warri city and in Southeast Plateau State. Senior al-Qaida leadership has expressed interest publically in overthrowing the government of Nigeria. Links also were uncovered connecting Nigerians to al-Qaida in 2004.
Periodically, travel by U.S. mission personnel is restricted based on changing security conditions, often due to general strike or student/political demonstrations. U.S. citizens should contact the U.S. Embassy in Abuja or the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos for up-to-date information on these restrictions. (See below for contact information.)
Road travel is dangerous. Robberies by armed gangs have been reported on rural roads and within major cities. Travelers should avoid driving at night. Because of poor vehicle maintenance and driving conditions, public transportation throughout Nigeria can be dangerous and should be avoided. Taxis pose risks because of the possibility of fraudulent or criminal operators, old and unsafe vehicles, and poorly maintained roads. Road travel in Lagos is banned between 7:00 and 10:00 AM on the last Saturday of every month for municipal road cleanup; police vigilantly enforce the ban.
Most Nigerian airlines have aging fleets, and maintenance and operational procedures may be inadequate to ensure passenger safety.
Some Nigerian-based criminals conduct advance fee fraud and other scams that target foreigners worldwide. These fraudulent activities pose great risk of financial loss. Recipients traveling to Nigeria to pursue such fraudulent offers have been subject to physical harm, and local police authorities are often unwilling to help in such cases. No one should provide personal financial or account information to unknown parties. Under no circumstances should U.S. citizens travel to Nigeria without a valid visa -- an invitation to enter Nigeria without a visa is normally indicative of illegal activity. Furthermore, the ability of U.S. Embassy officers to extricate U.S. citizens from unlawful business deals and their consequences is limited. Persons contemplating business deals in Nigeria are strongly urged to check with the U.S. Department of Commerce or the U.S. Department of State before providing any information or making any financial commitments. See the Department of State's publications Tips for Business Travelers to Nigeria at http://travel.state.gov/travel/tips/brochures/brochures, Nigerian Advanced Fee Fraud at http://www.state.gov/www/regions/africa/naffpub.pdf and Advanced Fee Business Scams at http://travel.state.gov/travel/tips/brochures/brochures
U.S. citizens who travel to or reside in Nigeria despite this Travel Warning are strongly advised to register through the State Departments travel registration website, https://travelregistration.state.gov. Americans without Internet access may register directly with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. By registering, American citizens make it easier for the Embassy or Consulate to contact them in case of emergency. The U.S. embassy in Nigeria can be contacted by phone at [234](9) 523-0916. American citizens may contact the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos at 011 [234](1) 261-1215 during business hours. For after-hours emergencies call [234] (1) 261-1 414, 261-0195, 261-0 078, 261-0139, or 26 1-6477; website: http://nigeria.usembassy.gov.
U.S. citizens should also consult the Department of State's most recent Consular Information Sheet for Nigeria, the Department's brochure, Tips for Business Travelers to Nigeria, and the Worldwide Caution Public Announcement, which are located on the Department's Internet web site at http://travel.state.gov. Up-to-date information on safety and security can also be obtained by calling 1-888-407-4747 toll free in the U.S., or for callers outside the U.S. and Canada, a regular toll-line at 1-202-501-4444. These numbers are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday (except U.S. federal holidays).

Yet another website in the making. Its Global Islamic Media Front.
Al Qaeda in The Land of Two Rivers once made a flamboyant appearance but sooner replaced with a prosaic version, for keeping a low profile and making it hard to paint a precise picture of what is inside. Neither former Tawhid wal Jihad website come on the scene. This would be also a great pains but all in vain.

POLICE BEAT AND ARREST HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS IN PAKISTAN
Christian human rights group calls on Pakistan to 'reign in' its police force
By Dan Wooding
Founder of ASSIST Ministries
LAHORE, PAKISTAN (ANS) -- The Washington, DC based human right group, International Christian Concern (ICC) says that it has recently learned of an incident involving Christian human rights workers in Pakistan.
Human rights activists were planning a rally in the city of Lahore to protest the increased power and influence of Islamic priests called Mullaism, said an ICC spokesperson. However, on May 14 at 4p.m., just before the rally was to begin, police from various stations around Lahore raided the offices and charged the activists with their batons.
The ensuing melee included at least 10 bus loads of university student, counter-activists belonging to the Jamaat-e-Islami party who joined with police in beating the gathered Christians. Police officers and Jamaat-e-Islami members pulled the hair of the women, dragged them down the road and stripped them of their clothes. Men involved in the rally were severely beaten and later taken to Model Town Police Station along with some women. Most of the women were transported to the Race Course Police Station for Women.
While detained, no one was allowed contact with the Christian human rights workers and no formal charges were brought against them. All of the activists were released later the same day, but it still remains unclear what provoked the violent beatings. It seems that the police had targeted the activists for their ties to Christianity, and their opposition to oppressive Mullaism that plagues Pakistan.
The spokesperson added, International Christian Concern strongly denounces this violence and calls on Pakistan to reign in its police force. This is just the latest in a long string of violence carried out by police targeting Christians. In the past, police have arrested Christians and beaten the prisoners to death, with no charges filed.
ICC is a Washington, D.C., based human rights organization that exists to help persecuted Christians worldwide. ICC delivers humanitarian aid, trains and supports persecuted pastors, raises awareness in the US regarding the problem of persecution, and is an advocate for the persecuted on Capitol Hill and the State Department.
