It doesn't bode well at all - you are 100% correct. When we have our own media punching our country in the gut, at the possible cost of another major terrorist act (or multiple terrorist acts) on American soil. When it happens, at least we know who to blame for inciting it.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A man claiming to have kidnapped an Italian aid worker in Afghanistan told media overnight he had killed her, but a government spokesman said she was still alive.
Clementina Cantoni, 32, who works for the CARE International aid agency, was snatched this week when four gunmen stopped her vehicle on a central Kabul street and bundled her into a white Toyota car.
Timoor Shah, who has claimed in several conversations with media to be holding Ms Cantoni, said he killed her after President Hamid Karzai's government refused to accept his demands.
"We strangled her with a rope at nine o'clock last night," said Shah, who was contacted on Ms Cantoni's mobile phone number.
"I will not give her body to anyone," he said.
Mr Karzai's spokesman, Jawed Ludin, dismissed the man's claim and said Ms Cantoni was still alive."

St. Louis-area lake vanishes over days

WILDWOOD, Mo. -- To folks around Wildwood, it is nothing but freaky: an entire 23-acre lake vanished in a matter of days, as if someone pulled the plug on a bathtub.
Lake Chesterfield went down a sinkhole this week, leaving homeowners in this affluent St. Louis suburb wondering if their property values disappeared along with their lakeside views.
"It's real creepy," said Donna Ripp, who lives near what had been Lake Chesterfield. "That lake was 23 acres - no small lake. And to wake up one morning, drive by and it's gone?"
What once was an oasis for waterfowl and sailboats was nothing but a muddy, crackled pit outlined by rotting fish.
The sight had 74-year-old George English scratching his head.
"It's disheartening, getting out on your deck and seeing this," he said as he stood next to wife, Betty, and the "lakeside" condominium they bought in 1996 for its view. "One day it's a beautiful lake and now, bingo, it's gone."
Some residents said they noticed that the lake, after being swelled by torrential rains weeks earlier, began falling last weekend. The Englishes said they noticed the drop-off Monday.
By Wednesday, the manmade lake - normally seven to 10 feet deep in spots - had been reduced to a mucky, stinky mess.
David Taylor, a geologist who inspected the lakebed Wednesday, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the sinkhole was formed when water eroded the limestone deep underground and created pockets in the rock. The sinkhole was "like a ticking time bomb."
The lake and surrounding housing development date to the late 1980s. The development now includes more than 670 condominiums and houses, about one-tenth of them bordering the lake.
Because the lake is private property, the subdivision's residents will have to cover the cost of fixing it, probably through special property assessments. George English expects it to cost $1,000 a household.
It is a price English said he is willing to pay. He just wants the unsightly pit gone, either by refilling it with water or dumping enormous amounts of dirt into it to create green space or usable land.
"I think it'll come back again," he said. "You have to hope they can fix it."
The British Tabloid THe Sun are the ones that took and posted the pictures first, and somehow, it is the US that is going to get bombed?
I think that the Pentagon should confiscate everything at the New York times and make a total example out of the publishing editor and the columns author.
Next time someone in the media wants to post a story that is going to end up killing American lives, they will think twice. They should also press charges on any TV station that airs the pics as well.
I am all for freedom of speech, but when their freedom of speech is threatening MY life for something I had no part in, they have then infringed on my right to life.

PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS CONTINUES IN CHINA
To ensure that the plight of Christians living in China continues to be told, the Committee for Investigation on Persecution of Religion in China (CIPRC) is periodically releasing stories documenting their brutal treatment.
CIPRC's Chief Secretary John Lee said in a previous e-mail interview, "We have mobilized thousands of brave house church Christians in China to investigate and collect the persecution cases. They have interviewed 560,000 house church Christians from 22 provinces, and have obtained invaluable first-hand information of over-two-million-word testimonies full of blood and tears and many photos as well."
This is a recent story from CIPRC. According to an e-mail from the organization, on May 14 2003, two evangelists were arrested and tortured in Fuyang City, Anhui Province.
That afternoon, according to CIPRC, Zhiming Guo, 22, a woman from Fuyang City, and Caixia Zhang, a woman also from Fuyang City, went out intending to share the gospel in Kaiqin Jiaozi Restaurant in Yingnan Town, Fuyang City.
Authorities came; arrested the women and took them to the police station.
That evening, CIPRC reported, the local police chief led the interrogation. In order to make Zhiming Guo confess, the police chief kicked her legs. Then policemen came and twisted her arms behind her back. Then the police chief pinched Guo's chest and eyelids so violently her eyelids started to bleed. But the chief did not stop. She continued the torture, picking up a pin and poking Guo's hands so hard that they quickly became covered in blood.
Then the policemen cuffed Guo's hands in an extremely painful position called "airplane cuffing," CIPRC reported, and beat her up. In the meantime, Caixia Zhang was similarly mistreated. The torture lasted until midnight. Then the police hung the women up by their toes, and covered their eyes and mouths with tape. This torture lasted for more than eight hours. Since that time, Guo's hands have had no feeling.
The torture and interrogation continued for a number of days, CIPRC reported. Guo did not say anything and was released. Zhang was sent to Xiguan Detention Center in Fuyang City.
According to CIPRC, the group was founded in 2000 in New York. Its objectives are to reveal the plight that the Chinese house church Christians have suffered, and to call on Christians in the free world to help their brothers and sisters in the persecuted church.
In a recent e-mail, Lee asked recipients, "What if both your hands lose feeling? Are you willing to give your hands for the sake of Gospel? If we are not willing to do so, then are we willing to take care of someone who did so?"
In an e-mail interview for a previous story, Lee said, "Due to the nature of our ministry, our organization has become the target of the Chinese Communist Party's ‘secret force' in the U.S. They (have) tried various means to stop us, such as stalking, intimidating, etc. But ‘The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?'"

We should all write nasty-grams to The NY Post. I, for one, will never buy another paper newspaper or magazine from any source anymore. There is no print media news (and most of the TV news orgs) I do not trust with truthful reporting anymore. Its all junk.
The NY Post went from a good paper years ago, to an outright tabloid now. Shame on them. How embarrassing that they arent even embarrased to show how stupid they really are.
Interesting too is that the black horse to them symbolizes economic injustice.
BANGKOK, MAY 20 (TNA) - The Thai police have found what they believe ara Al Qaeda military training booklets during a raid on an Islamic school in the South, according to Thailand’s Interior Minister Pol. Gen. Chidchai Vanasatidya.
“The find gives rise for grave concern,” he told journalists on Friday.
Police found the documents hidden in a nearby coconut plantation during a raid an Islamic school or Por Noh in Ya Rang district in Pattani province.
''Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra is very worried about this and he has assigned me to take care of it,'' said the interior minister.
The prime minister now planned to hold a special discussion with the governors of the troubled provinces on aggressive measures to solve the problem, the interior minister said after a meeting with all the country’s governors.
