I had never heard that Zarqawi was there. But I do remember hearing about the jihadis recruiting "lily whites" in OK City. I just think that it's entirely possible that he was there. If you read Steve Emerson's book he goes into detail about the vast Islamic network in Oklahoma City. Has anyone actually researched whether Zarqawi has ever been in the U.S.?
I'm wondering if the author is confusing Zarqawi with Zawahiri. It may have been OBL's #2 guy that was in OKC

I think you're right that the author confused the names.
Zawahiri, I had heard WAS there in '95.
No I didn't know that, perhaps they did confuse Zarqawi with Zawhiri?
On a different note, there are a couple more site put up at blogspot by the terrorists.

Russians Say Jordanian Mercenary Planned Attacks Using Poison
ITAR-TASS-Russia:
The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) prevented a series of terrorist attacks using virulent poisons, which were masterminded by Jordanian Abu Mujahid.
An emissary of the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda international terrorist networks, he arrived in Chechnya from Jordan in 1992 and controlled several Wahhabi groups in Ingushetia.
Law enforcement bodies learned that the attacks using toxic substances were to have been carried out by a Wahhabi group led by Alash Daudov, 45, who obtained the substances through Abu Mujahid.
The supplies came from an Arab country. One of the toxic agents has been identified as cyanide.

"Terror Denial"
By Robert Spencer
FrontPageMagazine.com | May 6, 2005
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Last Friday, firefighters conducting a routine inspection in a Brooklyn supermarket found 200 automobile airbags and a room lined with posters of Osama bin Laden and beheadings in Iraq. An element in the airbags can be used to make pipe bombs. The owner of the building, according to the New York Post, served jail time in the late 1970s and early 1980s for arson, reckless endangerment, weapons possession and conspiracy, according to the records.[1] But officials were definite: this has nothing to do with terrorism.
It doesnt? What does it have to do with, then? Was this a local Rotary Club chapter that decided to sell pipe bombs as a fundraiser and thought that a few posters of Osama and Iraqi beheadings might liven things up?"

"Chavez Plans Al Jazeera Type Network for Latin America"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "America-bashing Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is backing a new Al Jazeera-style satellite TV network that will broadcast throughout South America.
Critics fear that the network could become a mouthpiece for the Marxist strongman, who in December seized control of all broadcast media in his oil-rich country.
Telesur, short for "Television of the South," is billed as a commercial-free counterbalance to North American media and is set to begin broadcasting in several weeks, according to The Washington Times.
"Soon we will have Telesur, a channel with information for South American countries, because it is not possible that Venezuela and other southern countries depend only on information from CNN," Chavez said during a March press conference.
Chavez has enlisted support from left-leaning governments in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.
Chavez has already developed a new anti-American axis with Fidel Castro's Cuba. Tens of thousands of Castro's agent are believed to be in Venezuela helping Chavez maintain dictatorial control over his oil-rich nation."
