Prayers for TexasCowboy!
TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.
Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.
So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.
Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!
Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.
Ping to post 6,220. Sorry I left you off the To: list.
Blessings to you and yours
Awwwwww......she's cutting teeth. That's SO miserable sometimes, isn't it?
Thanks for the update!!!
Women know! And she has excellent taste! LOL
Hug her for us please......

I did, but every time I held her, except when feeding her a bottle, she would take a look at me and start screaming. I wasn't Mommy, didn't look anything like Mommy and that was Not Good. She was ok with her Grandmas ... yes, both of them where there. Her paternal Grandma headed back to eastern PA today, but she and her other Grandpa too will be back for Thanksgiving. My wife and I will be back in two weeks. :)
Tia de Victoria is visiting us here in Killeen today, getting sewing lessons from her mother. Hope you and yours, including your "stuff" made it through Rita without too much problem. We didn't even get a single drop of rain. Drat.
Not a drop for us either and killing heat! We were 102 on my SE porch yesterday at 4:30 and that's in the shade. It looks like someone took a pear burner to this land of ours. It will come "someday".
Glad the little one has her grams so that her little vocal cords can take a break!! ggggggggggg
Sewing! I've been trying to get 2 little charity quilts together for over 3 weeks and they're still not finished. The older I get, the slower I get. You'd think someone with 8 machines could accomplish something :)
Let it rain!!
Nana
Praying for your start of treatment, TC. I hope you're feeling a bit better. May God be with you.
My prayers are with you as you go through all this.
God bless you TC, you've been a blessing to so many here.

Greetings everyone.
I thought I would post this here rather than start a whole new thread.
My wife Paula, is going in for back surgery on Wednesday 9/28 at 06:30 CDT to repair a double disk herniation between the L5-S1 vertrebrae.
Please pray for the following things:
1) That the surgery would go well
2) She would have a full and speedy recovery
3) Our finances would be blessed while she's out of work for 3-5 weeks.
Please ping your prayer lists also, as I don't have any of my lists with me.
Thank you all
-David
Offering my prayers
Prayers for your wife's surgery. She will do just fine, I predict. Surgery is one area of medicine where major progress has been made. Just ask T.C. about his bionic hip. I just had Gall Bladder surgery on Tues. and was up and going the next day. Back surgery does take a longer heal time though. God bless.
Prayers have been said off and on all day and will continue .....
Hope the tests went well and the treatment begins as scheduled :)
Our love and hugs to you Cowboy........
