Prayers for TexasCowboy!

TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.

Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.

So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.

Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!

Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

Oh, you bet. I will be looking at the dog hair all over the house and be dreading having to drag out the Shop-Vac to clean the place. . . and then I read one of his posts and it puts it all in perspective.

Her Grandma and I sorta think so. :)

Grandpa has already got "orders" from Grandma to take her fishing as soon as she's old enough. I haven't fished in decades, but it's about time to take it up again anyway. But I'll have to practice from now until she's old enough.

Of course when she gets a little older yet, she goes shooting with Grandpa and TC. Her Mama can shoot, although she doesn't much, and I've taken her Pop shooting once. In fact I bought a .22 pistol just to get him started...since my other .22 pistol got sorta misplaced somewhere or other during my several recent moves.

And I was right after all.... TC will have his surgery tomorrow, FLAG DAY! How appropriate, no? A special added bonus for our patriotic Marine.

Prayers will definitely be coming from Texas tomorrow, TC. More prayers than you could count! And we'll be anxiously awaiting the news.

Three daughters and two grandsons have managed that task with me. Got the strongest little fingers immaginable and always room for more.

As an aside, would you be so kind as to lift daughter no. 2, Shelley, in prayer. She's in the ER tonight with so far unexplained severe pain in her left back. Awaiting call from Mrsdd with news.
