I shouldn't have buried this down so deep:

Excellent radio program covering Terri II
Also, the WND report at the top is a great place to start.
Here's the legislative and judicial skinny as I understand it [hasty research however]
Georgia law: closest living relative has the power of attorney. Reportedly redundant since the judge is going against her living will. But why is she in a hospice if she isn't terminally ill? One FReeper says that is against the law. FReegards....
Bump to this, also Glenn Beck has Ken Mullinax, Mae's aunt, on his show right now. He's been telling the whole story since the top of the hour. Every word of that original email action alert is absolutely true.
Ken Mullinax is fiercely upset about this, Glenn is outraged and yelling. What they are doing to this woman is unbelievable, considering the details.
He just explained that she has glaucoma and has not received her eye drops in 2 weeks, so in effect she's now blind as a result. That's just lovely.
Ken Mullinax just said that the "Terri bloggers" gave Beth Gaddy about 3000 calls yesterday. He said "They even called the judge."
If memory serves, hospice costs are less expensive, and medicare/caid saves almost $.50. per $1.00 spent there. I discovered this while researching the finances of the Terri thing. Hospices are the golden calves of health care.
