Maybe Camilla Parker Bowles?

There is a relatively new book out about the possible poisoning of Oliver Cromwell. Most historians think Cromwell died a natural death but THE DEATH OF CROMWELL looks at all the possibilities. One problem is that mercury was involved in some treatments in those days.
Certainly the history of Spain is full of statecraft via poison.

She precursed Marie Antoinette by publicly stating, "Let them eat worms".

Wasn't mercury used as part of a cure for Syphilis, back then?
To: Monterrosa-24
Too bad they didn't poison him sooner.

Mercury and lead were both used in makeup and it's a wonder how anyone managed to live to be 50, back then.
Belladonna was used to brighten eyes and damned near blinded/killed most who used it too.
