Theresa Marie Schindler... May Daily Thread 2005 CALL TO ACTION: Our Fight for Justice Continues
Various Sources ^ | April 3, 2005 | floriduh voter

Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.

I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.

There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.

The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.

I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.

Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.

I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.

I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.

PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.

HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.

Thanks, FV

Even if someone were to say they want to be starved, it wouldn't
be right to do so.

Bob Enyart will be pointing out that Republican judges were not
helpful in saving Terri.

Dear Xxxxxx:
Thank you so much for contacting my office about the Terri Schiavo case. I appreciate this opportunity to respond.
As you well know, the Terri Schiavo case created a huge controversy across the nation and across the world. However, I believe that if the media had made the facts known in this case, there would have been no controversy and Ms. Schiavo would still be alive today. Terri Schiavo was a woman who was incapacitated due to resipiratory distress in 1990. She suffered brain damage, but the extent of that damage is still unknown, as she never underwent an MRI, PET scan or any other conclusive tests.
It must be remembered at the outset of this discussion that Terri Schiavo never made her wishes known regarding her potentially being in an incapacitated state by means of any legal instrument such as a living will. Her husband, Michael, won a million dollar lawsuit on Terri's behalf after she became incapacitated. The funds were to be used for her rehabilitation and care. In the years following Terri's disability, she was able to speak and was making some progress through physical therapy. However, in 1993, her husband refused access to any further therapy, and had her moved into hospice care. According to the nurse's affidavit, he would also wonder aloud what he would do with the money from the lawsuit once Terri was dead.
You see, when a person dies without a will, in most states that person's estate automatically goes to the surviving spouse. As Terri did not have a will, Florida state law provided that Michael Schiavo inherit Terri's estate when she died. It was only in 1997, seven years after Terri's incapactition, that Mr. Schiavo "remembered" that his wife had stated that she would have wanted to die if she were ever in an incapacitated state. By this time, Michael Schiavo was having an affair with another woman and now has two children with this woman.
The media often reported that Terri was on life-support; however, in truth she could breathe on her own and was not on any type of life support. Michael Schiavo and Terri's family fought for the past several years over whether Terri would be starved to death. A Florida state judge ruled that Michael Schiavo could spend the lawsuit money awarded to Terri for her rehabilitation to pay lawyers who were arguing for her death. Mr. Schiavo also refused to divorce Terri, even though her parents offered to take full responsibility for her. However, had he divorced Terri, he would not have been able to inherit any of her estate. Terri's feeding tube was removed on March 18, 2005. The judge in the case said that Terri would not be allowed to be fed by any other means, even though she was able to swallow on her own and take liquids without the fedding tube.
Because many in Congress believe that all innocent human life is worthy of protection of the government, on March 21, 2005 Congress passed and the President signed into law S. 686, which allowed Terri's family to file suit in federal court to have her case heard as if for the first time. I believe that any incapacitated person who has been sentenced to death by starvation and dehydration should have the opportunity to be heard in federal court. That is why I am an original cosponser of H.R. 1332, the Protection of Incapacitated Persons Act of 2005. This legislation would allow family members who dispute the starvation of the incapacitated person to appeal the case to federal court, where it would be heard as if for the first time. Even murderers who are sentenced to death are so sentenced by a jury and have the opportunity to appeal to federal courts. Incapacitated individuals should also be granted appeal into the federal courts when there is dispute as to their wishes.
Terri's parents did file suit in federal court, but the case was not heard as if for the first time, as the law provided. Instead, the judges made a ruling based on the state court's ruling.
Terri Schiavo passed away after 13 days of starvation and dehydration. She had to be given morphine to stay calm during those 13 days , which clearly shows that this woman was not "brain dead." She could feel pain and was aware of what was happening to her. I believe that Terri's death was borne out of selfishness and a judiciary who overstepped its bounds and broke the law, as well as executive branch officials in the state of Florida who either failed to protect Terri or used force of arms to facilitate an innocent woman's starvation and dehydration.
I am hopeful that Terri's life will continue to have meaning as we debate issues as these in the future. I will continue to be vigilant in my work to enlighten the public as to the limited authority that judges have and how the Executive Branch and Legislative Branch must operate to preserve the right to life. I will continue to support the protection of innocent human life.
Thank you again for corresponding with my office and for giving me the opportunity to respond. Please do not hesitate to contact my office in the future.
Sincerely, John N. Hostettler Member of Congress

Well, the host at World Net Daily didn't mince words. He said that congress has dropped the ball because too many Republican judges voted to kill Terri Schiavo.

Starting with George Greer. The Republicans have made a fine mess for themselves. They deferred to renegade Republican judges instead of saving Terri. The GOP Judges are counting on protection by the GOP party in the aftermath. They're getting protections and Terri was a victim of judicial homicide by: some Reagan appointees, a Gerald Ford appointee, Bush 41 appointees, Bush 43 appointees, a Clinton appointee and GOP Judge Greer the point man who was taking orders from GOP SENATOR JIM KING.

Remember to return those GOP envelopes empty. It's working...

CHARLIE CRIST ran for Fla AG on a platform of civil rights and protecting the disabled and has aided other disabled Floridians but his office staff said to me "We don't take disability matters." So, if it's the guy who can't get on the plane, they helped him but if it's Terri, don't call Charlie Crist. He's part of one of the coverups. There's more than one coverup.

If someone wanted to be starved, maybe their medical providers should consider that maybe they're depressed or suicidal. That can be treated. Starvation and dehydration ends in a gruesome death and there's no treatment for it except for bad judges to be ousted. World Net Daily explained it very well. The bad judges are mostly Republicans.

"The fact that the medical examiner gave an interview to the St. Pete Times and seems to bask in his new-found celebrity is troubling."

The fact that he wouldn't let an independent examiner be present with him, and Felos wanted him to do the exam, tells us all we need to know. ( Bet he has ties to the Hospice industry, is a Scientologist and/or member of Euthanasia organizations too)I bet he didn't even do the exam- Felos and the death freaks told him what to write in the "report". I would guess the only reason he's waiting to release it is so people will forget some of the many many oddities and inconsistencies of Terri's case, and won't question this Sure-To-Be-BS "report".
"(Anyone want to wager that there will be no mention of the electrodes-that were supposed to maintained- were left in her head?)

I heard Felos wanted his ex-wife, an avid death freak, to "interpret" the report. I say let her. Why not? It wouldn't be any more outrageous than everything else that has been "allowed".

Here is yet another person, in Terri's case, whose actions indicate they have something to hide. Nothing to see here , move along...

Do any of you think that Terri's death was something other than by dehydration and starvation? I still think that those last 10 minutes of convienant death timing for Michael Schiavo and company were staged and that Terri was given something to "put her out of her misery". If so than it is possible that her death was not by what we all think it was, but rather something else.

Any thought?

That's exactly what I said to my mom yesterday. Terri wasn't dying fast enough and they helped her along. MS and Felos are dispicable people.

"Man, I love Sean!!!!!!!.......Hannity has also been a fighter for the Minutemen too."

I love Sean too. He was the first person to call nationwide attention to Terri's case. This is what saved her from the previous attempt on her life, but sadly, it didn't work this time.

Someone suggested that Sean should get a Pulitzer for his coverage of Terri's plight. That won't ever happen of course- but I agree whole heartedly.

Others have done a great job in getting the facts out-, Empire Journal, WND, exc... and deserve recognition as well. But, Sean brought the most attention to the case, especially when he moved his show down to the Hospice, and brought out all the controversies and inconsistencies for the public to see.( He did this same type of thing for the Minutemen).

On top of being a dedicated and hard working commentator, Sean's turning out to a first rate reporter.

I will keep him in prayers too. I'm sure the left is out to get him, a long with Rush and anyone else who dare to voice opposition the propaganda of "THE PARTY" or the Death Freak lobby(unfortunatley members of both parties).

Yep, they did not like that every day was going by and she was dying. Now, I know the night before supposedly she took a turn for the worse, but I have a feeling Felos was scared and overly anxious those 2 weeks as every day went by she stayed alive and he was so afraid that someone would come in and rescue her(Jeb Bush) and since everyone knew she was taking a turn for the worse Felos had to act fast just in case Terri was to be rescued at this last moment.
