Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.
Thanks, FV
I heard that loud and clear.
Thanks for the heads up about the Schindler's on Hannity.
Jim King is overreacting because he's GUILTY AS SIN!!! Can't take the heat. Your friend should be thrilled to have been insulted and threatened by that man. What an honor! And he/she was persecuted for being on the right side. Yahoo! (I mean HALLELUJAH!)
Senator King is a big fat pig.
Michael Schiavo better get used to it too. These killers are too stupid to realize that this case will follow them for the rest of their lives and it will never go away. Now some lawyers in Florida are giving Greer an award of some kind for his handling of the Terri Schiavo case. Now there's a classic example of a group of sharks forming a defensive circle to protect the lead shark.
Schiavo Killer Judge Greer to receive Special Justice Award
Fr. Pavone denounces judge as murderer
NEW PORT RICHEY, Florida, May 6, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) The Florida judge who authorized the killing of Terri Schiavo by starvation and dehydration was honored by his regional bar association last night with a Special Justice Award.
West Pasco Bar Association member Alan Scott Miller said that the Association decided to honor Pinellas County Circuit Court Judge George Greers achievements, noting that his professionalism and integrity was punctuated by the way he handled the Schiavo case, as reported by CNSNews. Miller added that the award is not just because of how he handled the Schiavo case, but for all of his contributions on the bench . . . It's like a lifetime achievement award for an actor.
Fr. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, responded to the announcement Tuesday in a release: On the night before Terri Schiavo died, I said to the national media that Judge Greer was a murderer. I repeat that today. I use the word not in its legal meaning but in its moral meaning, that is, a deliberate action or series of actions that intentionally kill an innocent person. Terri was not dying until she stopped receiving food and water. Once deprived of that sustenance, she died. It does not require any legal or medical expertise to recognize that as murder. Nobody who has lost the basic capability to understand that should be honored.
Whatever judgment, furthermore, is made on Judge Greer's legal authority to do what he did, no Court has the moral authority to directly and deliberately take innocent life, and those ordered to carry out such decisions are morally obliged to resist them by conscientious objection, Fr. Pavone added. Pope John Paul II made that teaching clear in his encyclical letter The Gospel of Life.
Other religious leaders, including Cardinal Renato Martino, president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace at the Vatican, have described this tragedy in similar terms, as have countless Americans.

FV SAYS: I posted this for the Headline. They are calling Greer a killer in Canada. This was from a Canadian news service.
Greer is a politician, not a judge. Somehow, he ended up in a black robe.
Keep on daydreaming floriduh voter, what you have done has helped awaken many of us to a terrible state our beloved country is in. We must continue to work to see that they are prosecuted. It might take years, but if we stay with it, I believe we will get the job done!
The movement against the culture of death is experiencing a growth spurt. I'm so sad that Terri and her family paid such a high price. Nobody rescued her. That's just appalling to me.
Comment to Brian Schiavo: It's because he is you freak.
You are so right, what this country needs is someone to stand up and be a man. I still think Delay has it in him and would be glad to support him.
Maybe because Jeb pulled it off the first time, I too believed he would again. Our grief isn't only over losing Terri, it is the way she was lost, how our country and its leaders let her down. They let America down. Its just too sad for words.
Bump.
I'll be back tomorrow. bttt
Oink Oink
Prayers offered for Terri's family as they cope with her loss.
Almost too cute for him.
Did you go to the memorial site?
I like it. Big fat pig, tra-la-la-la-la!
If anybody can write the music, I can at least help with the lyrics :-)
